Hello Mr. BMG. Thanks for sharing your life in the village with us. You have a nice close knit family. You wanted to know why Muslims don't eat pork? Well not only Muslims but even Jews do not eat pork. And if you had to know more about the teachings of Jesus peace be upon him and the actual teachings of Christianity then even you would abstain from eating pork. Those Muslim boys you asked about pork had no clue about the teachings of Islam. The main reason pork is forbidden for Muslims is because it says in the Holy Quran that some food is allowed, while others are explicitly declared haram, which means forbidden. And pork is one of those forbidden foods because the pig is an unclean animal. Please read Bible- Deuteronomy 14:8 and Leviticus 11:3 for reference!
