My family (some of us) make up our Volunteer Fire Department & First Responders. Our youngest daughter is Chief. My name isn’t on a role book. Yet, I’m blessed to be with them on each call. I’m known as “the praying Ma/Nanny. I don’t have to. WE are old and should stay home! I hear that too much. We can’t! WE CARE! Don’t matter if we know people or not, we care about everyone! Guess the long & short of it is this. I read above there where the girl didn’t have grandparents. Well, babygirl, we will be your PaPa & Granny too. We have something that makes us all kin folk. The blood of JESUS 👑🙏🙌 I took the long road to say it I reckon but We are our little tiny towns Pa/PaPa & Ma/NANNY, Granny, NeHe, to so many, if you will have us, stick this new pair of grandparents in your heart cause you’re sure in our, sweetheart! While I was listening to Santa read, "Twas the night before Christmas", it brought me back to elementary school (Kindergarten) when the teacher would read it to us. That was about 1967 for me. I set here and said the words along with Santa,.....I remembered most of it. I wish things were like this now for my grand kids.....I don't know if they even read this anymore. I remember the plays, making paper rings pasting them together to make garland for the tree in the classroom. Having class parties, room mothers (I was a room mother for my 3 kids), Oh what memories this brought back. Thank you.

Your video of Santa, your decorations and your sweet soft voice while making the cookies and Santa reading the story, in his calm voice, really helped me to relax. I’ve been in the hospital for the past few days with AFIB and chest pain. I thought for sure I would spend Christmas there away from my wife. They came in this morning and told me all was well and discharged discharged me. Then I come home to this and Christmas is getting better and better. You see our children and grandsons aren’t able to come for Christmas this year so we aren’t really in a festive mood. We haven’t even decorated this year. All of your videos fill our hearts and we so look forward to them. They are like a visit with old friends, so comforting and welcoming. You all are such a blessing to all of us here on KZbin.
