Hey Guys, thank you for tuning in to today’s video. And thank you to everyone who has been praying for us during these last few weeks. I wanted to give you an update of where I’ve been & what we have been battling. This will be a 2 part video. In this video I am sharing our journey advocating & pushing to figure out what was going on during my pregnancy. It was very difficult to get some doctors to listen to us & take us seriously, so I pray this will encourage you to speak up when you know something is not right. Stay tuned for part two with the birth story & gender reveal. I hope you enjoy my videos and will consider subscribing to my channel to see more content like this. Thank you all for your love and support, God bless you 🙏🏼

I was just fixing to message you on IG to check on you and your baby but also, I don't want to bother you if you're resting or busy 😅 but praise God that both you and the baby are well. We live in a small town in Oklahoma so I thought that's the reason why the doctors here are no good. Their hospitality here has high mortality rate and people suing them. My husband almost died twice because they were dismissive of his symptoms and kept on sending him home. First time my husband had gallbladder attack for days that doesn't get relieved and they wouldn't listen. Up until one day, one doctor finally listened and realized the urgency and decided to operate on him. Normal gall bladder removal is 2 hrs or less, his was 6 hrs because he already had gangrene from the infected gallbladder. And then the second time around after about a year, he had severe abdominal pain and I had a feeling it's appendicitis because the pain location and symptoms just checked out. But the paramedics in the ambulance was dismissive and so as the doctors and just kept on sending him home. And I was really pushing and eager for him to get seen and treated because if my suspicion is right and it is really appendicitis, it could rupture and lead to sepsis. Well they finally listened and admitted him and after some tests they were rushing to operate on him. When they opened him up, his appendix ruptured already and he already got sepsis. My husband was in the ICU for days after that before he was transferred to a regular room for over a week. So yes, kudos to you for being an advocate for you and your baby. Because sadly there are doctors out there that think they know everything but being submissive to their patients all along hence not addressing the real underlying problem. Anyways, i'm looking forward for the part 2 of your story. Sending you hugs Lindsay and loves to your sweet baby ❤

Goodness gracious, I am so sorry your husband and your family had to go through that twice. It’s so unfortunate because I just think there is too much gaslighting that happens in the medical industry. That is awful & just so unacceptable on the doctors part. Praise God that you kept questioning and encouraged him to go back. I am sure the Lord guided you in those moments to not give up. And thank you for sharing to continue to encourage others to speak up when things are off. God bless you all my dear 🫶🏼

Lindsey - I have literally been praying for you for months. I am so pleased you came to realize YOU need to be your own advocate. Doctors do not like to be questioned or doubted, but let me tell you that no one will fight for you except you. God endowed us with instincts I believe so that we could tell when something was not right. God had you and led you to the right people. I am so happy that baby is here and doing well.

🥹😭 thank you, your prayers mean more than you will know! I know it kept me going when I felt emotionally drained. I believe you are right about that for sure. Even at times when it was so scary and crazy, he had us & was guiding us right along into his perfect plan. 🙌🏽💓

Oh, praise the Lord that someone finally listened to you! It’s so sad that in 2024, women are still having to fight to get listened to about pregnancy. I’m so happy that your baby is peacefully sleeping on your chest while I watch this video. ❤😊

It looks like your baby doesn't have enough air space, so I can't watch. I read a lot about babies needing open space so they don't breath in their expelled carbon dioxide. I don't mean to be insensitive or disrespectful, I just am very cautious about that.❤
