That's wonderful news I'm really happy for both of you. I'm British and I've also French Nationality , my son also has French and British nationality and he's married to a Chinese girl, they can travel anywhere in the schengan area and if they stay for more than 3 months then they must register their presence and apply for a residents permit. My daughter who also has both nationalities was able to live in Germany she just had to apply for a residence visa. So you will be fine, just remember no more than 3 months in any schengen country unless you ask for residency, hope this explains it clearly.

Great news on the Irish passport, it truly is a game changer mine took 18 months based on passport photo issues, certainly was a joyous day when I got the confirmation email. I await your updates on the husband and wife front also Italy and Spain, lots of anecdotal quotes floating about on those two being challenging your findings at least will be fact based.
