Our 3mm solvent cup drilled out VS a competitors solvent cup. What's inside ? Here's the true fact!

Is the cup thicker so it can be tapped for attaching a drain tube with a quarter turn valve?

Good question. Not really, that function would be applied in the end cap, that's why they are 3/4" thick (instead of a thin wafer). The thickness of the cup bottom is too withstand the drilling process for larger drainage holes. Thin material will flex, heat up quickly, and lose its strength.

Indeed, it's 7mm thick on the bottom. But it's best to thread the end cap, not the cup.

What would you suggest for me to drain my 450 bushwacker...I mean Bushmaster? I would like a tube large enough and cups with at least 0.460" hole to really get that fluid draining quick and quite

I'd go with a more standard size, like the D cell sizes. That way you can buy cups/plugs/end caps/pre built monocores from other companies. Finally got my stamp and I started my mock up for my silencer build, this guy's tubes are NOT a standard size. 1.5" ID and I forget what the OD is. Any type of blast chamber space or monocore will have to be custom machined to fit this tube. Go standard D cell size in your preferred length and with the 3/4-16 threads and you shouldn't run into all of the problems that I have.

Are you offering these cups for the 9-9-9 solvent trap. I have the 9-9-9- solvent trap and it works perfect. Can I ORDER these cups for my solvent trap that i already have, and how many cups would i need to order for the 9-9-9 solvent trap tube. Thanks

Great to hear Tommy! yes, the black slide cups will work with any filter tube that we have ever sold. You can get 7 in the 9" tube, then a few springs to compress them tightly. :)

Why is your size proprietary??? Almost no one else makes anything with the 1.5" internal size. I just got my tax stamp back and I've had your trap in my closet for over a year, I finally go to work on it and can't buy a premade monocle to go in it. I want to make a steel/titanium spacer to go in the blast chamber instead of those springs, and it looks like the only way I can accomplish that will be to buy 1.5" diameter tubing and cut it to length, may possibly have to turn it down on the lathe a few thousandths but I don't have a shop or access to a lathe...
