Beautiful. I love all the outdoor spaces. I’m a nomad & views, water are everything. Sold my 4200 sq ft home & live in a small SUV traveling with a hot tent all over North/South America. Seeing people pull back & go tiny (making beautiful personal choices) warms my heart. It’s not the things or the rooms~it’s the people & nature.

That is a regular large house for most people, definitely not a tiny house. Nevertheless, it is gorgeous. You are fortunate to have 2 houses. I worked full time for 43 years (often 7 days a week - full-time job and a part-time job) since graduating college. With my Social Security and Pension, I still can barely afford the tiny apt. I live in. You are very lucky.

we feel very fortunate to have this home and we thank God for it, we didn't do the video to show off at all, there are so many different types of tiny home living styles and we just shared ours to feature the builder we chose and the uniqueness that it offers. We have both worked hard from the age of 15 and continue to do so, some years are better than others, my wife is a cancer survivor and this is her retreat and place to recharge so I wanted it to be very special.

The kitchen is beautiful, awesome and space conscious. I think a U-shaped kitchen is better than one taking up an entire wall. Easier movement and leaves more living space!

I remember some of the first "Tiny House" videos presented on You Tube. Young couples, singles with minimal monetary investment; materials were all recycled, from curbside trash piles, totallt built by themselves. I wonder what those young people think now of the explosion and differences in the Tiny House model today? It would be interesting to see those videos again. Too bad one of them didn't patent the term Tiny House and find a way to profit from their industriousness.

Everything about your tiny home is stunning. To conceive all of the detail you have added in your decor is really something to admire. I am remodeling my kitchen and bathroom out of necessity due to water damage, and I have chosen similar colors in the way of caramel/orange and grey scheme. (My living room furniture is the same color as your sofa!) Would you indulge the name of the bathroom wall tile you used? It would fit beautifully into my remodel.

As for the aesthetics of the house as a whole, just from a personal point of view, the home doesn't look like it actually belongs to real people. Everything seems overly styled and magazine-pinterest ready. I mean it's gorgeous, but...

thank you for your nice comments, in response to your somewhat negativity about our home its very simple, our full time living is somewhat hectic, kids in and out of the house, 3 labradoodles in and out of the house, constant cleaning and organizing, nothing in place, laundry basket here and there etc etc so yes when we go to this home we appreciate the organization and everything being just right for US not anyone else it helps us to unwind and relax not focus on anything but enjoying the energy that surrounds us there. It helps me with my OCD I guess you could say, lol

@EdwardThompson-u2t I understand what you mean. We too have a main residence, that we share with adult children who constantly come and go (we have one Labradoodle 😅). I am desperate to declutter and simplify my life but it's hard when our kids stuff is everything! We have a second property (where we hope to retire soon) and it is very different to our city house. It's just for us and it is kept the way we like it. But, I guess, both of our homes have very personal touches throughout. Like you and your wife, we have worked very hard over many years.

Thank you, the house cost was $215,000 delivered from Alabama. That does not include anything else, land prep, set up etc etc. It was expensive but the quality is top notch, we toured other manufacturers and this one cut no corners and we could visit the entire build that took 5-6 months to construct.
