Diya,a small tip here to grate the coconuts, put the cut open shells in the freezer for a day, this will help you scoop out the white portion easily off the shell. U can then cut the pieces and put it in the mixer for two three seconds and store it in the freezer, it's as good as the hand grated coconut ,I m following it since three years and it's saving my time

Hey hi! U can remove the coconut in pieces from the shell using a knife n then grind it in a mixer once or twice. It will be just like using a scrapper.
