Kass isnt wrong.. it would be so hard to leave her luxurious room in the castle and on a student wage you'd have no choice but to downgrade. Your extremely lucky to have the parents you have to support you, not everyone is blessed with that. We as people can adapt to just the basics and still have the stability, security and a cozy feeling a home provides. Dont knock it till you give it a fair chance Lilee, your entering into the prime years of your life and its good to get out of your comfort zone.. that is how we learn the most. Youll always have your home with Mum and Dad ❤

I recently moved from a one bedroom apartment into a room in a house with 3 other girls to go back to college for the second time. Downgrading was hard. I've lived in rooms a lot before but for 5 years i was in a one bedroom apartment. For the last 2 years, I had my cat with me. I had to surrender my cat because I couldn't find an affordable place or anyone to rake my cat for me to go back to college. I am 27. I am doing veterinary assistant program. It's nice that lilee has the support and help. I think being scared is a normal feeling for everyone. I also feel like lilee is wanting her own place but seems concered about costs for parents. The college experience is so needed. If it doesnt go ok you can stop, take a break, and try again later. You'll do great lilee! ❤

Lilee knows what she wants. I lived with 40+ people on four continents before i turned 30, and i wouldn't change any of it. But the couple of times i lived alone were some of the best for my mental health (and getting my full deposit back after moveout)... Lilee can get to know people at school, and choose to go to OTHER people's houses when she is invited. She seems to enjoy stability, and likes herself enough to want to spend more time getting to know herself. That's wonderful.

You’re lucky you get a choice of apartments Lilee. When I went to PE college 42 years ago in the UK, we were allocated a room in hall usually shared (I shared with 2 others - one of whom I’m still in touch with;) and we had tiny single beds , a small wardrobe and chest of drawers (did they realise just how much kit PE students have??) and shared bathrooms (no showers!!!) between about 40 of us with wooden partitions between baths. We were good at lobbing soap and shampoo from cubicle to cubicle!!! It wasn’t all bad by any means. The hall was a former girls’ boarding school built in the early 19th Century with beautiful grounds. It’s still there, the college is now the sports faculty of a nearby university and our wonderful hall, old people’s apartments. They were happy days!!!! Enjoy your college days.

You have to keep in mind that she has lived in a house FULL of people for her whole life. I feel like she just wants some peace & quiet. She wants to work & go to school... and come home & chill. LiLee is beyond blessed to have the parents she has!! She is fortunate to have parents that support her endeavors and are in a position to support her financially. I’m a full time college student and work part time. I’m from a low income family so I have had to support myself through college. HIGHLY recommend living on college campus. There are very few times in life when you can live with people your same age and at a similar stage in life. If you ask me the thing I miss the most about my 18-20s, it was constantly being around people my own age/ my friends and being able to walk like 5 minutes or across the hall to them. I know that dorms and college housing isn’t glamorous BUT the experience is SO WORTH IT!

lilee has been an amazing help and she truly is a wonderful person, but she also grew up very privileged. i’m not saying she doesn’t deserve to get a choice, but i think that if she is adamant on her own apartment that’s more costly, it would be good for her to have to contribute a bit to teach her about sacrifices. it’s amazing to know that tiffany and benji support her financially and emotionally, but 18 is soo young and a lot of lessons are learned from this age onwards, one being how to make hard financial decisions/sacrifices!

i went to cosmetology school for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week for a year but it was so worth it!! i’m glad i did it right out of highschool because i was already used to that type of schedule. it’s hard but so so worth it in the end. you got this!!

I fully understand LiLee, the panic sets IN hard lol but just know that it's amazing that you're parents are wanting to support you in the best way they can lol I was given a timeline and then was on my own for about a week in between, before I could actually move into my first apartment! My parents paid my rent for a month or two after they saw how hard I was working but I've been on my own for a few years since 19! It's pretty hard at first but it does get easier!! I've always had decent favor with roomies as well! Take all the support you can get that when you get to your 20's, you're set up for success! I did not have the emotional support, kindness or care you have (quite the opposite) and I still made it haha Wishing you guys the best !! You'll do amazing things and will probably surprise yourself at how much courage you have!!
