Our Disney's Polynesian Staycation Check Out Day! | Kona Cafe Breakfast & Our Thoughts Post Trip!

In today's vlog we check out of Disney's Polynesian Village Resort and have breakfast at Kona Cafe before we head home. When we get home we get back to reality, make dinner and then chat about our thoughts on the trip and the resort. We hope you had fun hanging out with us on this staycation! I agree with you, Jen! Coming home from a Disney vacation is such a let-down. I remember breaking down crying the morning I had to go back to work (after a Disney cruise, DW and Epcot. I asked my husband, “Is this all there is to life? A 10-day vacation then back to work?” So much work when home! ❤😂😊 Enjoy your kids . It will be even harder when they have grown up! 😢

recognition that we choose to escape is the answer to the question is just the ultimate recognition rides have exit signs. which is why iger needs to rebuild the bubble. it was never about getting from the airport to a hotel. it was about the luggage tags arriving, checking those bags and then magically seeing them in your room. rebuild the bubble and even the haters will come back. in the meantime Paris disney is on a roll.

Your channel helped me learn English when I was 17 and I started watching your channel when you were at just 5000 subscribers. You reacted to a video of a stone smashing a car and a lot of people didn't like your reaction but I really did like you as a person. I remember you finding your dream job, playing video games with friends, meeting this one guy in a park who came to your house, fixing an old car... If you tell the front desk you have medical needs, they send someone to the room from maintenance to override the ac and have it set to whatever temp you need and doesn’t auto shut off, we’ve done this at contemporary, Coronado and all 3 all stars with no issue. 😉

I’m the same on vacation.. I love not having to cook but i also feel icky after a couple days. I like to have some fresh fruit and veggies mixed into all the bad food. Just got home from a 3 night stay at the Grand Californian here at Disneyland and it was amazing. People did that with the pool chairs too and i saw the pool attendants grab the towels off if they weren’t being used.

Linen pants are super comfortable, but wrinkle like mad. After years of doing the Disney Dining Plan on our trips, we don't do it any more. We eat less at each meal and just eat when we're hungry. We devote less time to eating and save money over all. We tend to eat breakfast in our room, and the better counter service restaurants that serve more than burgers and fries for lunch and dinner (think Sunshine Seasons at Epcot, Pecos Bills at MK, Yak and Yeti at AK, etc). We share dishes and take our own drinks. We usually pick 2 table service restaurants to eat at for dinner or breakfast during the week for something special, but otherwise, we avoid them.

The secret to linen is finding, buying, or altering a pair that fits well. I'd start with a khaki or black pair. White's amazing if you can keep them clean. You want a nice linen that's got some weight. You want them a tad big (not tight) and hemmed to your height. If and when you get used to linen, you realize how comfy, classy, and cool (temp) they are. I think you could rock them. I love mine. And yes, a small menu is best! You know they do everything well. A big menu is the opposite. Most people don't realize or think that way, but it's very true. As you guys know, fancy and expensive restaurants don't have big menus. Thanks for sharing!

I am strict at Disney with food. Buffets can be your friend. Load up on greens and protein and the dessert portions are bite sized so take two ONLY. Always eat heavier earlier and walk it off and avoid fattening drinks. Skip dessert parties and get some popcorn. Use the gym!!

The "sleep demon" is more than likely made by Leroy Shmaltz or Roly Crump of Oceanic Arts in California. They basically created the Tiki decor movement. They were commissioned by Disney to do decor for Adventureland and the Poly when it opened. Justin Scarred just did a video about them since they have closed down.

A good tip if you ever stay at the DVC studios , Tokelau is a GREAT building AND has secret theme park rooms that are considered standard ! And the other pool is VERY nice! And it’s right next to Tokelau !
