Our Disney Wish Cruise Weekend 2024 | Embarkation Day With 2 Kids, Castaway Club Gifts & 1923 Dinner

In today's vlog we head to Port Canaveral to board the Disney Wish! We have a late embarkation time so we get to see how that changes things, the crowds were lower at the port but it also meant that we didn't get announced when boarding but it also meant that we didn't have to wait for our room, it was ready when we got on the ship. We head to the room and see our Castaway Club gifts and then head to the deck for the sail away party. Our plans changed and we didn't get to see the sail away show but we did get some lunch and ice cream! Then it was basically time for dinner, which was at 1923 and was delicious as ever! This day looked like a very realistic day and I loved every minute of it. My momma heart is so happy remembering the excitement of little ones, the not-going-quite as planned diaper blowout moments, and the "let's just go to bed and start over in the morning" exhaustion. Love Jacksons ear defenders! They were a god send for my now 14 year old when he was younger. Not all noise effected him but they were always with us so when he would tell us his "ears hurt" we could whip them out! xx

My kids are now a bit older but I totally remember those days having a toddler and an almost one year old who wanted to constantly move. It can be pure chaos. If I could be so bold as to offer some unsolicited parenting advice…from someone who doesn’t even have kids LOL… Perhaps saying to Jackson, “I want to hear what you have to say, but you have to wait your turn” might help to reduce how much he interrupts you guys. I know you adore him and want to hear every thing he says, so this might be a great way to let him know you still want to hear him, but he should not be interrupting others while they are speaking. Or, just ignore me and do you. 💕
