Absolutely ridiculous is the way most of the riders in North America use their e-bikes, and you don't seem to be an exception. Riders seem to confuse a moped with an e-bike. As long as you have a throttle on a bike, it's no longer a bike or an e-bike but a moped. An electric bike requires you to pedal because if you stop pedaling, it'll stop. You start on the ground as flat as a pancake, and most, if not all the time, you're using the throttle, and then you claim that you bought the e-bike because of steep hills! I'm sorry, but you're not getting any exercise while you're using the throttle, so don't go around claiming you bike if all you do is ride what can only truly be described as a moped.
