Our Epic Meet Up At The Metrocentre 12.10.24

Hello all; welcome back to another video and welcome to Sammy G’s World Of Cinema.
Today on the channel; I am doing a special devoted video to an epic meet up that happened at the Metrocentre on Saturday 12th October. This just goes to show what an absolute honour it is to be part of the film community and being around amazing people makes it all the more wonderful. An absolutely amazing day and one of the highlights of my year 🤩🍿🙌🎸🎶 I also show some new Blu-Ray additions that have made inroads into the Sammy G collection; hope you enjoy the video 🙂

Really nice to see you had a good meet up, looks like fun. Remember Beautiful Day being on MOTD years ago. Good horror pick ups, Basket Case is a really sleazy and insane movie. Haven't ever got on with The Amityville Horror, worth it at that price though. The Exorcist 3 is a favourite of mine, reckon you'll enjoy it. Enjoyable video as usual Sammy G

Would you believe I actually only visited the Metro Centre just last week and went into both HMV and Cex, Sammy. (I remember they used to have an old two-storey branch of HMV.)

Some fine purchases Sammy, the first “Basketcase” movie is the best one & is a dark, dirty movie set in New York which is fun 🤣to watch as well as being a horror movie. “The Amityville horror”’is a decent horror movie but i slightly prefer the sequel. “The Exorcist 3” is okay & does have a great jump scare as I said which is one of the few times I’ve been scared in watching horror movies. “Pump up the volume” I’ve not seen in years, love the original “Salem’s lot” Excellent stuff Sammy & nicely put & shouting out everybody & thanks for the kind words, we”ll meet again 👊

Thanks for the kind words Carlos my friend and I was really happy with my Blu-Ray purchases to the ever growing collection 😀🍿🎸👌 I only seen ‘Basket Case’ the once; but really did enjoy it and can’t wait to check it out on that 4K disc 👌 I thought Amityville was just alright at the time; but it was five year ago when I first saw it; so chances are I will really enjoy it a lot more on second viewing 😊👍 Glad to hear you enjoyed the sequel bud 👍 I heard mixed things about Exorcist 3; it surely can’t be as bad as 2 which I heard is one of the worst movies ever 😱😂 Looking forward to taking a look at the third film and I’m sure that jump scare scene which have me sh*tting myself 😂 I absolutely love ‘Pump Up The Volume’ bud; fantastic film and I always have Andy to thank for promoting that on his channel 👍👍 Really enjoyed the original ‘Salem’s Lot’ and going to be taking a look at the remake hopefully soon 😀🍿🧛‍♂️ Thanks once again for a fantastic weekend and awesome day Carlos mate; I am ecstatic for our next gathering and I’m sure it be another wonderful meet up as this was just truly magnificent 🤩🍿🙌🎸🎶
