Can't deny he lost some of his prime, sure he scored his goals but if you actually watched his games at juve you can see he often wasn't able to bring what people are used of him anymore. Even got benched in the crucial last game of the season for the last champions league spot, that says it all really.

@@brent8407 100%. I'm a Juve fan, but I see so many people only looking at the statistics, but not how a player affects his team. Ronaldo has not played well at all this season, and as a Juve fan, I really hope he leaves so that we can start to rebuild a team spirit and an identity on the pitch. Right now our only way is to try and find Ronaldo. And we try and try and try until he scores. And if he doesn't, we lose. It's an awful way of playing, but unfortunately he can only fit into this type of system. We play better football when he isn't in the team.

It’s not exactly the same England squad though is it? In 2018 we took players like Phil Jones, Welbeck, Young, Cahill and we didn’t have Mount, Sancho, Foden, Grealish, Shaw, Rice, Chilwell, James, DCL, Bellingham who have all had amazing seasons at the highest level. I doubt we will win it but we definitely have a lot more quality and depth than in 2018 so it’s naive to compare.
