Our Farewell to GTA 5 FiveM (The End Of FiveM For Us & Goodbye Car Meet)

over 6 years of playing FiveM bouncing around a bunch of server's/communities that either ended beforehand or i just fell off with but when the homies finally made their way over to the PC wave we really stuck through and always came back to 5M Speed Lab server till the end. this was probably our last session on FiveM together, livestreamed this video a good couple days ago or so now with a good amount of the homies/crew surprisingly for a random pop out day. i still have A LOT of FiveM content to still upload but sadly with this tragedy i don't even know if it's good to post or not now, feels ruined. but yeah we all randomly decided to all try to link up together for whoever could make it to come join for what was probably the last day we'll ever play FiveM cause of the removal of a lot of IRL content/IRL cars (which was the reason why we even play). this is all for entertainment purposes, drop a like if you enjoyed & subscribe for more.

There will be no SixM. Rockstar bought FiveM for a reason. If you want to play RP/Custom GTA servers you go to FiveM. Rockstar will shut down any other custom GTA launcher. Many people missed this detail.

Even If the original creators of Fivem decided to make a SixM or whatever It'd be called I'm sure Rockstar would just sue them since they bought fivem for a reason they can't just create a new one. At this point it's up to someone else to make something new with no affiliation to fivem and call it something else. Even if it's the same concept.

welp it was fun while it lasted, moving over to assetto fully, although it would never be as fun and amusing as it was in fivem for the simple fact it being an open world game with ur own cars and garages and roleplay which really set differences apart from other car games

I mean it’s not shutting down you can still play it, just without real life brands or ported cars from other games. You can still mod whatever you want as long as it’s not branded. And I think it was either this or a massive court case for FiveM by Rockstar..

This isn't even the case either, you can easily use regular vehicles just follow the terms they put. Plenty of servers out there that still have a good amount of people and real vehicles.

So sad to see it all go there was so many good servers out there speed labs 9-4 a bunch others. I’ve been busy working so I didn’t even know until I logged on to have my whole list of servers gone. Was a good few years but at this point I don’t think I’ll be returning to the GTA franchise after experiencing what it truly could offer in FiveM even GTA6 will feel bland and boring

not by choice, it's the removal of IRL content/IRL cars that's making us not play it anymore

Rockstar/CFX implemented an intellectual property policy which means you cant have anything that bares a likeness or resemblance to a real life brand in a server or you risk it being forcefully shutdown and getting permanently banned from the network
