Davao is the best place for me to retire. If u want cold foggy place, Eden Toril is just a few minutes away from the city and if u want white sand beaches, Samal is just 15 minutes by boat. From highlands to islands truly, Life is here in Davao.

The tuba is a natural wine coming from the coconut tree, it’s collected by cutting the tip of the coconut flower and attaching a bamboo tube into it to collect the juice that instead of forming into a coconut fruit

hello mike and gigi,,,,,Tuba is coconut wine, from the top of coconut tree, only "Magtutuba",,,can probably climb the tree,,,,the sweet blend is the newly/latest harvested wine from coconut tree,,,,dn after so many hours, it slowly turn the sweet blend to sour,,,,it will turn a vinegar Good luck guys and please enjoy the beauty of Small Island

Hi Mike and Gigi, you know how the "Tuba" wine is made is pretty complicated. Climbing the tree in the morning and trim the coconut blossom by a sharp "sanggot" knife so that juice will drop gradually into the bamboo tree made container. Then it is gathered late in the afternoon. It has a sweet taste flavor and whitetish in color when freshly harvested and you'll feel woozy if have it too much! Im sorry that a lot of my countrymen are not familliar with your country, i love history, somehow im familliar with Romania, i still remember when former romanian president Nicolae Ceausescu visited our country in 1975, he was also the first socialist leader to visit our country, 1975 also was the year the, " Thrilla in Manila" was held here between Muhamad Ali and Joe Frazier, i was 14 then☺

I believe the coconut wine is made from the coconut sap, which is extract from coconut flower. Just like how Tuak in West Malaysia is made.
