Our Favorite Catholic Thrifting Finds! || Catholic Haul 2023

My husband and I LOVE to go to yard sales and church bizarres. A few years ago, I was at one at a nearby Presbyterian church and I saw a beautiful, old fashioned St Joseph statue, in which he was holding The Child Jesus. It is the kind you see in Churches on the side of the altar, and my heart just said, "You cant leave him here with all these Protestants who won't know how to honour him!" So he came home with me, for $5. Now he sits in the corner of my kitchen and watches over our family every day.

That's awesome For five dollars saint what is a must have, the Divine Mercy barely slides in Second, Great finds. Perhaps make your own Holy water fault I laminating the divine mercy image then place an old the bottom of an old squirt bottle, or plastic bottle. As a temporary blessing for your Holy Water.

Our favorite find!…In Nov we were on vacation across the country and we found a neglected St Therese statue. She was missing her nose and her paint was all peeled off. We rescued her, my husband lovingly restored her nose, and gave her a beautiful new paint job. She stands next to another find, an antique Sacred Heart of Jesus picture in frame on a home altar. 🥰

I went thrifting this past weekend and found a pocket “Catholic’s Manual” and it was printed in 1901!! So well over 100 years old and in great shape for only $4. I was thrilled!

Wow. Those are some beautiful finds - the artwork of Mary; the art work; the Treasury of Saints - I've never seen a listing of St. Michael's apparitions! The Divine Mercy 101 Kit with the Bonus Purgatory pack - oh my word! Lol! The Matchbox Car Advent calendar - love this haul! =) Great work thrifting!!
