Hello, gentlemen, I have a PANASONIC G85 and I love it! The videos that you guys have created have helped me so much with this camera and it has been a joy to work with (my first "grown-up" camera) I was hoping you could answer one question though: Does the Panasonic G85 require on-line updates similar to my Fimora Wondershare software? If so, is there a video that you'd recommend I watch or would you guys even consider creating such a video? Thanks for helping so many of us with your videos,. Stay safe and Godspeed gentlemen! Great that i came across your video :) just bought an FZ2000, similar settings.. didnt know about noise reduction or gain settings, was filming in lower light few days ago and was like disappointed with the result, now i see i can adjust, in my case to + reduce. maybe an extern hdmi screen could also be nice. How to you change between C1, C2 and C3 profiles? Guess yoj can program them also for photo shooting?

I know the video would be a lot longer, but it would have been nice if you went more into details of why you like certain things like that or why you chose things to have on or off. But this is good, I can reference to this.l

I like the fact that it is weatherproof. More of a camera for vlogging and it has great image stabilization, great quality 4k justu.faith/PLumixG85 and 1080p. And still holds it's own against the Canon m50, a6500 and the Sony a7 III. And can still take great still pictures.

I just setup my g85 to your settings. My question is about the function button settings I’ll go to what your at. And the white balance card do you have to do the setup all the time or can you do it once and all set. Great video and commentary

You guys make a GREAT team ! Thanks for taking the time to do this amazing tutorial for video set of the G85 !!! Your experience will get us off to SUPER start. I know you are talking about static but my humble suggestion is to do a demo of dynamic outdoor Vlog set up because I think most of us will be doing that...especially in the beginning. You are a great teacher ! With gratitude 🙏

I used it, but I'm a newb and my videos (with 3-point lighting) turned-out dark and grainy. I'd open aperture, is it? But the zebra and what not shows noise. Unless my lights are too close, I'm not sure what the issue is. Ugh...it's like I'm using a old-school phone to take videos.

When you shoot hand held with a lot of panning. Do you turn the stabilizer on and turn off the E-stabilization or leave it on also? When panning my video looks like it is shuddering.

Can anyone help, please? In my camera, the operation mode is grayed out? What could be the reason? 😭 p.s I am using 14-140mm lens with OIS. Is it because of that the lens already has OIS?

i followed the video and then the live screen and video itself is sxtremely SLOW and laggy, impossible to shoot anything. I wonder if its caused by some bad setting or a slow sd card...

It's a hack so to speak Plenty of videos on here to tell you how just a case of pressing a few buttons and turning on and off also removes recording limit but leaves you with a warning ⚠️ every time you power up. You can also put the camera back to how it should be if you get fed up

At 9:03 in this video, there is a very abrupt jump from menu setting to manual setting of ISO, Aperture, and Shutterspeed, without explaining what the new "scene" was all about or how it relates to what the entire video has been about up to that point. The questions in the comments about how adjusting the front and rear dials are not adjusting things suggests that other viewers needed more help in understanding M vs. P or whatever.

24p doesn't make sense unless you're making movies for viewing in theaters. Computers use 60hz (or higher) screens, so displaying 24p requires pulldown. Only the few people with 120hz or 240hz screens would see no downside to 24p video
