Got a pair of Van Staal last year for Father’s Day and they are the real deal. The cutter is awesome, but what I really like is that they aren’t super light weight…you actually feel like you have a sturdy pair of pliers in your hand. I attached a barrel swivel and a small float to mine just in case…

digging the danco's, new this year. seem to be holding up, line cutter is good, and a set of staal pliers are damn near 10X the price...

Hah! $200 is a lot, but for a full titanium purpose built tool that will last a lifetime its not bad. The next closest comparison is almost $400.
