I purchased this bar in January 2021 - it saved me after a neck surgery that destroyed my trap/shoulder strength and mobility. 3 years later I still squat once a week with this bar, I am also back to low bar back squatting effectively. I thought about getting a Marrs Bar - but really the SSB does it's job. I have a bit of nostalgia bias because this bar helped me through my post cancer rebuild.

Cambered squat bar (mine's from Titan). It's almost like an earthquake bar for your squats.

Not a bar really but the Proloc camber bar arms. Because they allow me to press overhead in my basement. They feel great on bench too.

The handles on the SSB also unscrew for JM press. The transformer bar and bells of steel curls bar are my favorite specialty bars in the gym. Both have really helped my training

Love SSB for helping me with the same deficiency Tanner mentioned. Helps me think about not folding over, but is more comfortable than a traditional high bar squat.

In 2010 I fell off my back steps and fractured and dislocated my right elbow and to this day I cannot turn my right hand much from the neutral position, so I cannot do any straight bar lifting anymore, so all of my lifting is with specialty bars. I use a CAP mega hex bar For Deadlift, that elite FTS yoke bar, you have there for Squats, which I also love, and the rogue multi grip bar for Floor Presses. I have a Pritchett Pad I use for a dumbbell rows. I love all my equipment equally

Transformer Bar is my favorite but I don't consider price in that decision. It was definitely expensive though. Obviously you guys need either a cerverus Kratos or the Kabuki version that's supposedly coming out

Has to be a trap bar for me, doesn't even have to be a fancy one. I prefer DL's over squats and neutral grip is everything for me. I seriously need to find a place to try some of these SSB's though, as that might change my opinion about squats (hate them, hate them, hate them).

Tanner was definitely influenced to pick the SSB by his shirt. I’ve only tried the Rep SSB. But I loved it. Probably my next home gym buy. Curl bars are nice too. Not sure they are special enough to be specialty bars.

I'm curious why you prefer this over the Marrs Bar. I have the Marrs Bar, and really like it, but don't have a traditional SSB and have never actually used a traditional SSB. I've considered adding the Yoke Bar but have always wondered whether it would be worth it to have both.

To be fair the SSB, Marrs, and transformer are all pretty comparable to me on my favorite list. All good choices. Marrs definitely puts the weight further back and down on your body, feels a bit more like a low bar squat. But I like the the feeling the SSB gives
