My husband just started doing read-aloud chapter books at bedtime for our 4-year-old. He's been reading independently for a long time, so this was a great way to branch him into bigger books. He has really enjoyed Mr. Popper's Penguins and Henry Huggins so far.

I suggest the Toniebox. My daughter uses it all the time. The thing I like is you can get it in multiple languages. Most of my daughters tonies are in German and Swiss German. There's a few English figurines.

If my kids actually played with toys like hers do, I’d have a ton of toys just like her. It’s a season.. little kids love toys and they make messes. Soon they will be grown and won’t want to play with toys and she will have an adult house again. Until then… let them be little. ❤
