Always a fun time taking a ferry… especially from Greece to Brindisi Italy. Do you recall the total cost of the ferry & room?

I think it was about 400 euros, but it was worth getting the cabin because we got to sleep and take a shower

Great video! We're going this weekend. You mentioned there was a passport check? Is this done by the ship crew or is it an actual border check (which would be odd given Greece-Italy is within Schengen)? Grazie mille, Valerio

Ciao Valerio! They checked before we boarded the ship, in the video you see us going through the building and my husband entered with the campervan, we all had to have our passport with us (we have italian so they were not stamped). Once we got to Italy they saw we were Italian from our licenses plate and waved us off. I hope this helps 😁

@@the5worldexplorers Anch'io sono italiano :) Ma è stata la polizia di frontiera/dogana a controllarti? È piuttosto strano perché all'interno di Schengen non dovrebbero controllare.
