Everyone completely underestimate what Nick Saban was for that program. It wasn’t just about his roster as a matter of fact, it had more to do with his ability to adjust and apply to his strengths and weaknesses then it did his roster by a longshot.

Daboer does have some experience in this from being at UW. The Apple Cup UW vs WSU is up there as a rivalry and UW is Usually in the Alabama seat and WSU is usually little bro that plays spoiler, so he has had to get ready to play a team that isn’t as talented but could easily beat him because of the rivalry. I don’t know what the record was between them when he was there because I don’t follow as much as I did when I lived in Washington. I’m a WSU grad which is why I’m a great Auburn fan… cuz it’s hard to be a fan sometimes when they are losing so much, but when they are winning it’s that much sweeter!

@ oh I know, but living in Washington most of my life, I can tell you that is definitely one of the top 10. My point was that Daboer does have “some” experience with a rivalry that loves to play spoiler even when they have a bad year. I’ve seen a 2-9 WSU beat a 10-1 UW! UW vs WSU is (or was now that the Pac10/12 doesn’t exist) it will probably become like Texas & A&M where in 10-12 years when they are in the same conference together it will be nuts! They did play this year but not on Rivalry week (they played in Sept and I was pi$$ed about it!). But WSU did win!
