I TOTALLY agree rubbish is EVERYWHERE!!! It's such a shame and yes, Tunisia is one of the most beautiful, wonderful and naturally enchanting countries on this planet for sure! Thank you for your kind, honest words! I really hope that people will wake up soon and fix this garbage issue soon before it's too late!

Awesome description of Tunisia. You're absolutely right about the garbage. I am going there in 4 weeks, for the end of Ramadan inshallah. My wife is Tunisian, I am German, living in Canada. Alhamdulillah 😊

You been the most tunisian tourists i have seen, the way you blended in and dived in with people is really inspiring, not only for the way one travels but also for the one's mindset and attitude towards people from different cultures. ما أحلاكم 😇

about the the trash, i live in sfax and we suffer from i every time e wind blows i have to collect all the plastic bags from the garden or front of he house, it's mostly the gov fault for not providing trash bins everywhere , and on the other hand people are either uneducated or they are like what's the point , garbage collectors collect the bags and leave a mess behind people throw everywhere ect... people need to wake up , in kerkenah people took it in their own hands to stop that kind of litter except in sidi yusuf where you guys went last time.

You're right about the rubbish and trash and we are actually well aware of it, it just takes so much money to fix the issue and country has to manage the budget accordingly ( you should know a thing or two about tight budgets XD ) and keeping the country clean requires 2 things, 1st: A maintenance cost which is very expensive for the country currently(more trash bins, better trash collection plan..etc). 2nd: Rising awareness of the public ( requires some investment as well through social media and mainstream media for motivation..etc ). Such Vlog series will definitely have an impact on the 2nd point, won't be huge but every bit helps, so maybe another take away from your trip is that even tourists ( the good ones at least ) have a positive outcome on the future of the country ( tourism wise ). so yeah, i hope next time is even better, Travel safe

Hi, Thanks for sharing your Tunisia trip. I'm going there in just under four weeks and I've been watching this and other channels to try to get an idea of what has changed since 2015, when I last went there. I'm sure I won't be able to get around the country anywhere near as much as you guys did as I'm only there for ten nights but hopefully I'll get to see what I want to see without it costing the earth and without whitnessing any of the political issues currently in the news.

The ferry choice is awesome! I'd be doing that :) The ferry itself is ridiculously similar to ours on the BC Canada coast. But, what a great way to meet lots of people! I'm considerably older than you and friends think I am insane to want to go to Tunisia, but honestly it checks everything I am looking for, but I'm planning on doing a week or so guided tour before heading off on my own :) You guys will love northern Portugal!

Hey guys! I will miss seeing you wandering in Tunisia :< This litter issue has always been driving me personally crazy too, but that's the thing, people are super strict about cleaning their indoors property, but when it comes to public property, infrastructure and transport, the mentality shifts and most people (not all obviously) don't care as long as its not theirs. It's stupid but then again, some people really are stupid. As you might have noticed in the fancy suburbs, this is almost not a problem. residents act very differently.

Your comments about the rubbish are spot-on. It's a cultural thing, here: Keep your house spotless, what happens outside is of absolutely no importance. The "police the l'environnement" - the ones tasked with fining infractions - are way too busy chasing their bakchich here and there. I've been here three years... Sarah and Marek, I commend your curiosity 😉

I will really miss your videos and how you have showcased my country and its hidden gems so euthentically. Unfortunately, the environment is not one of the country’s priorities (neither the people's). They only maintain the touristic areas and the main attractions clean, but the rest... Nonetheless, you managed to capture its beauty and our heart with your videos, we appreciate it :) Good luck for the rest of your journey!
