You are a beautiful lady minus the make-up! The snow looks beautiful, but I am happy to be living in the Appalachian Mountains in Pennsylvania. No snow yet! Just red, gold, and orange leaves on the deciduous trees, and of course there are a lot of pines. My American Eskimo dog would love playing in the snow. He is difficult to get in when the snow happens.

Aww, thank you, I was a model for a couple of years and always felt very strange without makeup. Oh gosh, I bet it is beautiful there right now. Beean may have short fur, but she gets quite the undercoat, she does like to be outside. I bet your doggy is beautiful. 🐾🐾❤

I know it would be an expense but maybe invest in a snowblower . I pray you all stay safe . What a welcome back home from Mother Nature ! Stay safe on the roads - always have to watch out for the other drivers .

I have a small snowblower, it would not handle this, it was way too heavy. I have been hearing nightmare stories of people trying to use snowblowers. I am glad I got back before the storm, flights were cancelled the next 3 days. Thank you, the roads are a mess for sure.

Im waiting for your Michigan trip. So far your winter storm has been kinda like Michigan only earlier. Im glad im in an apartment now and no worrying about plowing shoveling and cutting wood. Believe me i earned my retirement❤❤❤❤

I remember the snow like this in Michigan, we don't get this heavy wet snow here, the last 10 years or so have been a mess, with black ice, freezing rain and heavy wet snow. I am glad my plow guy is still doing my yard this year 😉🥰

Hi Bears 🐻🐻🐻 You are having the same type of snow/ice storms we have alot here in Maryland. Temps hover around freezing and going out in the a.m. is so hazardous. Stay safe and be careful ... ice cleats are good. Hubby has a pair for when he shovels. Those veggies look so good. We are walking most everyday now and changing our eating to more clean ... letting go of salt and processed foods. This time I am really doing it ... had a doctor appt that wasn't so good but I'm going to turn things around. I do better when I am motivated with a concrete goal (yeah, sometimes it has to drop on my head 🙃🙃). Hope you all have a wonderful weekend. BTW, Beean and Kip looked so cute in their "towels". Hello! I thought I left that heavy wet snow in Michigan, I don't like it! Our roads are a mess now and I think my ice cleats are going to live on my boots until spring! I work on too many of those slip and fall victims and it's no joke. Not good having the Doc get after you, but at least it is a good motivation. Aren't those towels cute! My Goodness! Not ready for that to head my way. But I think it's coming. I can't get out and shovel like I used to. It hurts me now that I'm older and had a big surgery in 2019. I hope it's a mild winter here. 🙏❤

In nj we are still with good weather. 60’s for the most part but a couple days coming up will be high 70’s to 80 degrees. Haven’t had rain the whole month of October so the fire risk is high. Can’t believe the snow you have already.

When I was on CQ I looked forward to shoveling the snow outside. Other guys just wanted to sit there for 24 hrs. It passed the time and I loved the snow. I remember the first snowfalls in Ft. Wainwright. The night before the ground was wet but you could see the ground. The next morning, up to several inches of snow lay on the ground. Back then, the Weather Men were terrible at predicting the weather. Obviously, they didn't have the technology they do now. Are they any better in these days? Or is it still that poor ground hog they yank out of it borough once a year.

I don't mind shoveling snow, but not this wet heavy stuff, that's why I left Michigan, LOL. I was told it was dry up here. Our average wet month is August at 1.88 inches of rain for the whole month. We got 1.99 inches on Monday! All in one day!!! I really don't think you can predict the weather here, it's all a guessing game.
