Amry it’s really fun to watch your breakaway and team roping jackpots. Also glad you are human and have a bad day once in a while too. Helps us get better. I had a great time roping in Wickenburg in Feb. I’ve been able to go to some jackpots in Idaho in March.

You did so well! Lollipop may be small, but he’s 💪 I’m looking forward to seeing your first barrel race with Poppyseed, that’s going to be extremely fun 🎉 We love authentic, and having a little setback makes you real and makes you work that much more. We’re here for you girlie ❤ Now go get the next one! 🎉🎉🎉

Amry, never apologize to us about a "bad" day - you can ride and rope better than anyone who follows your channel. Live in the moment - maybe you were in your head thinking too much about the first jackpot. By the last, you owned it. The best is yet to come! 🐎🤟

I really enjoyed this video! Whoever took this video could not have done a better job. I also loved watching Loli Pop's performance. ,What a beautiful horse! I have a request. When you go to an event will you explain it. A person in, New York for example, would not know what you are doing. I was mostly into barrels,Pole bending and not much roping.This was still a very exciting video for me to watch.

Amry how do you decide witch saddle to use on different horses? What about witch bit to use? Amry I heard a famous Rodeo Competitor say If You are not winning you are learning.
@cnahorses5 ай бұрын
I try hard to use saddles that I know fit that horse. There’s lots that go into saddle fitting…. Might be a good video topic! We learn what bits work best with lots of trial and experimenting - experience helps too! Love that!! Gotta remember “if you aren’t winning you are learning” 🙌

Your 1 eye might have a weakness. This is seen in roping, shooting and ball sports frequently. The transition from close to far vision is not equal. It can be trained with eye focus exercises.
@PrairieGal19855 ай бұрын
I know how hard it can be to pull out the positives when you are feeling overwhelmed with the negatives. Life -- doesn't always throw us that bowl of cherries! LOL Love how you acknowledge Loli Pop's effort with a pet at the end of your runs. Question: Looks like there is a risk of the rope hitting the horse's head (specifically the eye) when it's released if the horse's position is a little too close to the calf? Loli Pop seemed to have a reaction to the closeness a couple of times. Those eyes are so fragile.

I would not call myself a dog trainer but Milo listens very well. I spent a lot of time with him as a puppy teaching him a solid recall. I’ve always lived by the motto that horses don’t know right from wrong they just know what they can get away with. Maybe dogs are the same?? Milo doesn’t chase horses because he doesn’t know how. I never allowed it at a young age… if you find out how to correct a dog after they start the habit I’d love to know!!

I like the fact that your horse stops in the breakaway without gaping his mouth and it looking like you are pulling his head off. 14:55
