Tom your vlogs are one of the only things keeping me going at the moment, I’ve been struggling with addiction for a few years now. I’ve been sober for 3 months soon, but sadly lost my mum 3 weeks ago to alcohol and drugs. you are doing amazing Tom, early parenthood can't be easy but you are taking it all in stride a champ and don't worry about Alfie's crying when his either has gas trapped or he's hungry, some babies will be amazing for hours and won't be hungry or need changing and sometimes they will be cranky and agitated just continue to make him comfortable and he will be ok

I just want to thank Tom and this entire community for always bringing positive vibes. The last few months of my life have been wild. Between finding out I was going to be a dad and Tom posting the video of Jelly Man is here and being absolutely excited. To very unfortunately experiencing a miscarriage with my girlfriend and losing a part of myself. I’m glad this was the first video I decided to watch. All of you remind me that every single minute is another opportunity to progress and try harder. No longer for myself but for the family I want. My little one had real issues with passing gas we managed to get coleaf drops that you put in their bottle and help their little tummies. Saved our sleep schedule and made him much happier was so hard every night with ours not settling tried everything lol. The joys of parenthood lol.

Loving the new dad life vlogs Tom! Don't normally comment but I currently have a 18 month old who suffered with colic/gas pains and was spitting up alot. Hated being lay flat, never used his bassinet on his pram and had to elevate his next to me crib so he was always upright. I later found out at around 3 months old that he had CMPA (cows milk protein allergy) This can cause symptoms of reflux which is basically like heartburn for them and that's why its so uncomfortable for them to lie flat. He also struggled to poop and would strain and scrunch up alot. I noticed your dad was trying to relieve gas pains but one trick we tried that worked absolute wonders before we discovered his allergy was bringing their legs up to there tummy and pressing down. Have a quick search on KZbin plenty of videos of the technique but it was a god send it relieved my son so much! He passed so much gas!! Have a look into reflux aswell if you find his really uncomfortable lying flat. Just some little tips for you guys that I wish someone told me before having my son❤
