What free throw do you use?

I have a 92 standing 89 driving dunk 7’0 center. Also have a 94 dunk 85 standing dunk build and both builds I feel like I have a lane or someone is running the opposite way and I get the smallest dunk meter green window. As someone who uses it a ton, any suggestions or recommendations? Do you just wait till you’re a little closer to the rim to initiate the contact?

from personal experience, if you’re on a fast break, if you’re even slightly in front of your defender or it’s a help defender, the meter should be green. If you’re in half court, it’ll be a lot harder to get a big green window, especially if you’re not that fast with the ball and just beat your defender… if you notice, yes, Laker does wait until he’s under the rim a lot to meter dunk and his defender is underneath the rim. That allows for a larger green window more consistently… Hopefully this helps

you’re not gonna be able to just jump over someone, you have to initiate the meter at around the free throw line when the defender is a little to the side of you to get the big window

@@flurrries usually the defenders are leaving the paint to cover corner or something when I’m starting meter and it’s still super small or I’m behind the defender who for example jumped to try and block my typical floaters. Maybe it’s just a luck of the draw and I just have to wait till the windows a little bigger to start the meter

@@zGingaSnapz dunk meters are different bc they will never change. so as long as when you start them there is nobody in front of you then they will stay with the big window. you are probably just starting it too late so a defender can get in front of
