Why don't you get your furniture delivered to your new place? You can select a date for when you'll have the keys and you can simply meet them there. It saves it taking up space in your current house... plus it means less to move.

Your going to be so much happier I can already tell, also Anna, Instead of buying a dressing table this is what I’m doing because I’m moving house next month, I’ve got a huge dressing table- so I’m giving that to my mum and from ikea I’m buying a cute 1 slab shelf and hanging that on the wall and then I’m buying the ‘malm’ ikea drawers to put on the end of the wall next right next to it and putting a mirror on the wall above the shelf and putting some ‘Mulik’ wall lamp/lights around it, it’s so much easier and looks so pretty and tumblr it’s on Pinterest if you search “wall shelf dressing table” ❤️
