I used to live in northern California up by the Oregon Boarder where there are quite a few elk herds. They are huge animals. Glad you and Houston are getting to spend time together.

My father was 91 when he passed, and still talked about going hunting with his grandpa and uncles when he was growing up. My brother is in his 70s and still talking about going hunting with Dad. These memories really do last a lifetime. Love watching you and Houston making them!

Does my heart good to see you and HOUSTON hunting. My husband and son did the same only in Colorado. We are from rural north LAMAR county, Tx. My husband Elk hunted 50 plus years in Colorado, lots of elk meat and Antlers. He died suddenly in 2020 or he would still be going every November.

Deer season used to be my favorite time of the year,especially the first day of buck rifle season. My last year of hunting was 2007. My major surgeries started in 2006. I have been disabled since early 2011. I just can't walk through the woods anymore. I am not able to take care of a deer even if I was able to hunt and shoot one. Now a days I just enjoy watching them and have no desire to kill one anymore. I am not against hunting and keeping the population in check and healthy. I'll be following along and watching y'all do what I used to love doing myself. Good hunting,be safe and God Bless!!!❤😊

Elk were depleted in Midwest part of Wisconsin where I grew up. The Forest Service brought in more Elk and it was a no kill time. Now the Elk are flourishing

We are very lucky we live in northeast Okla and have elk on our property. We have only harvested one a few years ago. Hoping to get one this year. Was shocked to see a baby elk still spotted a couple of days ago. Very late baby, hopefully he and his mom make it.

My spots on state land were only good every other year. One year there would be way too many hunters. So the next year almost nobody shows up there and I get a couple deer. So I used to tresspass quit a lot as a kid. If I got away with catching fish there or shoting a deer, there I would be back.

It was great to hear the coyotes!!! We used to have them all the time around my home, but we are no longer in the country. Way too many people have moved in and the wildlife has moved out. I envy y'all your wild spaces! God bless you for sharing with those of us who have lost ours!

Coyotes are over-populated in many states. They have been killing huge number of animals. Especially farm animals. Everything from birds to goats and horses. They need culled.

Exactly the reason I DO NOT deer hunt with my husband. 😂 He takes numerous snacks, loud and noisy. He opens cokes, and during this (my first hunt), he hits his elbow on the wall. That was my first and last hunt with him. I am focused, quiet, and if I starve, so be it. I can eat later. Hopefully deer meat. 😂 He also watches his phone with his air pods. I mean, who does that hunting? 🤷🏼‍♀️ I have been successful every season I have went. My husband, has not. 😂 I absolutely love watching y’all fish and hunt, 2 of my favorite things to do. ❤
