After doing my first PSA reveal, I'm having a hard time deciding what I like more. Ripping packs or revealing PSA grades. This was one of my favorite videos we have done so far.

It is my belief that PSA has got it wrong when it comes to grading cards, autographed cards in particular. Once a card has been handled by bare hands the card has now been altered due to the oily finger prints left on it. PSA will degrade a card for this except for autographed cards. There are other issues as well.

Guys, you can buy a centering tool and pull up PSA OR BGS's grading criteria and have a jewelers loupe to look at surface. Only looking for 10's of course(unless it's a vintage card) alot of cards at 9 will sell for less than same card raw that looks in great shape. The time it takes is whatever level you paid at , it will say within 30 days , 60 days etc. In my experience it's actually PSA that's slow and seem to have problems, I've only gone to Beckett twice and not one issue yet. Also have 10 cards that landed last week at Beckett also. Keep on collecting

I love that you do this together as a couple. My wife totally enjoys participating in the hobby with me and it makes it all the better!! I just got back a 32 card PSA sub after taking a break from the hobby for almost 2 years. Grading was kinda harsh and odd. The ones i thought would gem, didn’t. And the ones i thought would 8 or 9 gemmed 🤦🏻‍♂️ Definitely not gonna complain about the 10s, but it’s just strange. Congrats on the Stroud and Wemby 💎s!! Definite W for sure!! 🤙🏽 🔥

Nice guys I think you did ok for first submit! I'm in same boat I have several thousand dollars of raw comped 50-500 dollar cards some downtown's, CJ & wemby silvers, ant autos and silver, plus so much more but am slacking on submitting my 1st it's kinda intimating for first time what to send, how to pre grade, comp all the cards at 9s to see if you break even or loose $ over raw price, there's just so much to it I feel like i might use a pre grade service or local card shop to send mine in idk 😐

Sell all the base and psa 9 stuff like it’s hot, the prices will go down down down. Use the money to buy a card you really like that as short print as possible

The football stuff sure, wait. But not too long because the new crop is coming. I grade 40-50 at a time, I always make sure to put in about 10 future Hof players. Bron-mcdavid-troat-tiger-Tom and I search out low pop stuff to target. Those are keepers. But I’d keep the pink wemby for sure. I’d put money on it that the average of say 30 cards sold today vs two years of modern players you loose at least 50% selling latter on. Just keep your favorites, move the rest and reinvest in the cards you really want and players who have already proven themselves. I held a luka contenders auto from 400 up to 15000 and sold at 5000. They don’t just go up no matter who they are

Some grading companies will have a breakdown of like the corners edges that kind of stuff up in the banner where the rating is so that does exist.

Great video. You should give TAG grading a shot. They give you a record of why it scored the way it did, the cases look way better, and they take the subjectivity out of grading with computer vision.

They give way more 10s on the lower value cards, but a lot more strict on the higher value stuff. They want you to see 10s to keep submitting with them. PSA are like scammers. You two had a lot of fun in this video so that’s all that matters!! Keep up the good work guys!

I think A quarterback is 5'10" and less mobile like Bryce Young is super hard to make it to top elite in NFL. He is "too short" to see over the line men 6'4 - 6'5 - 6'6. I believe that. Look at Russell Wilson 5'10" but this guy works and run crazy with a great team mates at Seattle's to win SuperBowl

And make sure you don’t submit the same type of players in the same sub if you want tens because having a couple together lets them be able to look side by side and give you a lil worse grade if it’s a lil off

Congrats on the return! Nice pink Wemby! Also, be sure to examine the back of the card before sending them in. The centering isn't too important, but a small dimple or indentation on the back will drop the grade to an 8... which could have been the case on that green Bryce Young.
