​@@greg_one_izm No they aren't actually lol, all a ninja is, is jumped over or past your opponent and back smacking them. So long as you jumped and back smack them while still in the air it counts as a ninja.

Somewhere in settings you'll find one that switches audio between 'Dynamic' and 'Compressed'. Switch it to compressed. With dynamic, most sounds will drown out footsteps.
