It was so great to meet you on your first Disneyland day! Here’s our funny story, and I haven’t made it a video yet. I saw a very tall dude outside Space Mountain with a Hawaiian Pooh shirt on. So I go up and awkwardly ask if y’all were The Leffersons. Garrett looks right at me and doesn’t miss a beat - just immediately “It’s the funniest thing. No, but I get that all the time!” And my immediate thought is “That’s really weird, because you sound exactly like him, too…” Then Alyssa came up and asked him why he’s talking to strange people, and he laughed. And that’s when I realized “Oh no, they have my sense of humor, too!!!” And y’all were kind enough to take a photo with me & my son. My kid was complaining about how rough Space Mountain was while you were talking about how smooth it was. And I mentioned The Matterhorn has the spine-shattering experience y’all were looking for. It was really wonderful to briefly meet you! I’m so thrilled you enjoyed Disneyland. I had the same feeling at WDW last April - As Gandalf once said, “I have no memory of this place.” And I’m SUPER excited to hear y’all’s thoughts on the fireworks in part 2!!! Wow, this has been much longer than I intended. If you’re still reading this novel, know that we love y’all and appreciate your content. Cheers!!!

I'm so excited to finally watch these videos, especially since we were there too and greeted you on your way to rope drop!! Like I told you when we saw you....it makes me so happy to see frequent WDW visitors be excited and so happy to be at Disneyland. I'm always afraid they aren't gonna like it because of how much smaller it is, and think that the rides aren't as good, etc. But not only did I see and hear the excitement in both your voices in person, but hearing it again in this video just brings a smile to my face!! I worked at WDW for 6 months (August-February) and was so taken aback to see a cavalcade where Mickey & friends aren't wearing their EARidescent costumes!! the differences between the two parks look so interesting!

Castmembers in DL have and can check the entire property for stock. My last trip one lady called around every day for me 🥺 for the duration of my trip... I know WDW has “all the bells and whistles” but DL will always be my home park and first choice. ❤️ (Hope you guys had a chance to eat at the Blue Bayou!!!)

I have been waiting for these!!!!! I grew up going to Disneyland, living in California it was so easy to just decide to go on the spur of the moment. So I’m partial to it. I was so happy to see your excitement of seeing it for the first time. I know many people who tend to focus on it being smaller the WSW. But as you can tell there is a special magical feeling to it.

We were at Pop Century back in January for 8 days, and the day before we left, we did MK. Walking through the shops at park close, we saw 2 weighted plush dolls- Pluto and Daisy. They were completely sold out of everything else. I was kinda disappointed because I hadn't seen these until I was at MK, but we ended up getting Pluto. Next morning as we were getting ready to leave, we made a trip to the gift shop at Pop, but I discovered all of the other characters (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Pua, Stitch, and Eeyore) were well stocked. We ended up also getting Mickey. One of our kids falls asleep on them every.

Disneyland Paris is very similar with everything in walking distance. They have buses from the hotels, but the furthest is a 10-15 minute walk along a nice riverside path. It made WDW feel VERY big and overwhelming on my first trip.

The Matterhorn is cute, but I don't really enjoy riding on it, because it is so rough, and the bobsleds seem to have been designed for people with no legs. Space Mountain is much more to my taste.

OM goodness!! I am Bamboo Mike's wife. This has so made us want to go back there!!!!! My husband proposed at the gazebo of the Disneyland Hotel 2003. Went back with kids 2015, but we are from near Chicago so going to Florida is our typical jam ( but now Disney cruises new mania!!) We are so going to plan return trip to Disneyland, your observations is exactly how we felt in ''comparing'' both parks, although really more like apples to oranges, both amazing but with different ''flavors'' and vibes. Thank you so much for sharing. Interested in also how you like staying off property, we stayed at Disneyland Hotel last but cost outrageous. Wondered if you felt safe outside bubble.

Genie+ at Disneyland is AMAZING. I experienced it at DLR first, and then when we went to WDW in January, I literally only got to use LL for 2 rides... it was NOT FUN 🤣 So fun to see you at our home park!

Genie+ was awesome at Disneyland! And it was a low crowded weekend (Feb 4-6). The weather was awesome, definitely recommend going in February!

Pretty much! Genie + was awesome at Disneyland!! We did one and a half days at Disneyland and one day at DCA!
