We were at the Falls about 2 weeks ago. It was an absolutely beautiful day (highs in the mid 70’s) and not a cloud in the sky. There was a little bit of prep we had to do ahead of time in order to be able to cross over to the Canadian side, but it was well worth it. Thankfully, the crowds were light that day and going through customs in Canada was very quick. You need to go back and see the Falls from the Canadian side. You just can’t capture the same view as from the American side. In any event, glad you two got to see them. The Falls are indescribable in their beauty. Pictures and video don’t do them justice.

Just went there last week with my niece and she both had experienced the Canada last July and with me USA side this September and she told me that USA side is the best like we had so much fun riding the maid of the mist and see the falls at the observation deck and indeed breathtaking plus the cave of the winds then the tram where it goes round the clock to those 3 falls and what’s good with USA side, you can hear the sounds of the running water and see very closely the falls like right in front of you unlike the Canadian side that just the view unless they go on with the boat unlike the USA side some people doesn’t need to ride the boat just to see it up close and we’re lucky to see the rainbow while at the cave of the winds like you’re there at the falls like love to get wet by the waterfalls plus the terrapin point top of the walls super super nice and you’ll love to walk with the falls at your side like very relaxing super nice like you want to comeback again there

What a great video! Your enthusiasm, planning, editing, camera gear, and skill in using it make your videos a blast to watch. And oh yeah, your food reviews always make me hungry! You really captured the flavor of Niagara. I first visited in 1952, when the flow was double what it is now. The horseshoe was just a massive wall of white foam. Some say it has more character now, and I guess that's true, but it was truly terrifying with twice the water. When you go to the Canadian side, the views are really amazing, but you won't get as wet. Do the behind the falls thing if you go to Canada, but keep in mind that you won't see it like it used to be. Not to put a damper on it, but today, you can't go all the way to the two tunnel portals behind the falls, so all you see is a wall of water in front of you. It looks like it's about 30-50 feet away. When my dad took me there in 1961, you could go right up to the portals. The first one allowed you to see the end of the horseshoe to your left, with the bridge in the distance and an awesome rainbow. The second one was farther in, and all you could see was a curved sheet of water left and right. You could look up to the brink, and down to scattered boxcar sized boulders below with tons of water pounding onto them. It was stunning. I'm guessing they closed off the portals because of dangerous erosion. The trip now is probably still worth taking, because you can still go out on the observation deck at the base of the falls. It's an amazing natural wonder, and as you know, if you block out the nasty people and campy touristy stuff, you can still have fun imagining what it must have been like a few hundred years ago. Thanks again, guys, and safe travels to you always. :-)

Thank you so much for the kind words, it means a ton! And wow, double the water sounds INTENSE! We know so many people say the Canada side is better, but we LOVED the experiences on the US side and love that both sides offer different experiences. We look forward to experiencing it someday!

Please come back. The Canadian side has so much to offer (dining with a view, hotel rooms with amazing views of both Falls) and also the region is known worldwide for its farmland and wineries. Go, go, go to the Canadian side too and check out what they call "the prettiest little town in all of Canada" Niagara on the Lake.

Niagara Falls is a great place to visit. We were there about 6 years ago, but we completely missed the Cave of the Winds, but that gives us an excuse to go back some day. Look at what you saved in the cost of a shower.

You have to definitely go back to the Canadian inside. You most definitely have to ride and one of rewrote in the made in the mist and it was fun. It was a blessed now I would love to take my grandkids to the US side. Because I haven't been there.

You both did a great job showing Niagara Falls since I have probably been there 50 times. Downtown Niagara Falls needs a lot of help and is somewhat depressing, but the Canadian side is worth viewing and both sides have Casinos. Outside Niagara Falls on the Canadian side is a charming little town called Niagara on the Lake, which people from all over the world travel to and it has nice wineries as well. Toronto is only 90 miles away and Fort Niagara is from the War of 1812 and you can see it from Niagara on the Lake.
@AdventuresofAplusK3 жыл бұрын
We have heard Niagara on the Lake is amazing! We hope to visit that side someday. Our pup isn't allowed in Ontario because of her breed, so it may be a while until we can make it there, but we look forward to it.

I was just at the Falls 2 months ago. Maid of the Mist was definitely worth the price. It was gorgeous at night. But the park is poorly lit and there were quite a few sketchy people hanging out in the park . Also lots of homeless people panhandling during the day. Right near the park is very touristy., but a few blocks away it's a ghetto. I'm a woman and went by myself and I had no issues. I had a great time and will be going back next summer .

We will agree that we didn’t feel overly safe at night in the area around the park. But the in park itself and everything we showed in this video we felt safe.
