My only cruise to date was on RC for our honeymoon in 2008... We went to Coco Cay but it was undeveloped back then... you had to be tendered in like going to Half Moon Cay. We had walked down the length of the island and there was a whole section where we were the ONLY PEOPLE. It was absolutely magical. Now it's so completely different...

Hi Fam. Been watching you for a while ❤. Maybe I need to try Royal Caribbean. I was about to give up on cruises because I did my first on Carnival magic end of Oct. Last one from Norfolk. I did not care for it. I've done several all inclusive resorts and loved it, so hoped the cruises would be a similar experience. Things I didn't like was too much time on the crowded ship, not enough beach time, adult area stayed crowed only got access to one day when we stayed on board during dock. I'm not a clubbers so I did a comedy show, which I did enjoy. Our one excursion in Freeport went so bad Carnival gave all guest a partial refund. Didn't like the crowded long process of getting off the ship at Port nor upon arrival back in Norfolk. Maybe cruises aren't for me but I would like to give it another try. Any suggestions?

If you are a resorts person like myself then cruises do not compare honestly. I've had to set my expectations and lean into the cruise world so it maybe true that you aren't a cruiser. We'll be a review soon of our experience and who we feel RC is for :)

Coco Cay is free except for: zipline, up up and away balloon, water park, Coco Beach Club, the upcoming adults only beach club (2024), and excursions, and the cabanas (land and over water). Food is included (except for Captain Jacks). Your beverage package and wifi also work on the island if you've purchased them for your sailing. All this also applies at their other private destination, Labadee, which is gorgeous. I LOVE Perfect Day at Coco Cay...It's actually hard for me to choose itineraries that don't include it lol.

My two different experiences. First time, enjoyed the Oasis Lagoon...the music was lit with a DJ and it was a fun party for all. Today, here the 2nd time, no fun music, no DJ, and it's BORING!!!! I knew Royal created the new Hideaway adult only island,, but I didn't expect Oasis to be so blahhh blahhh boring!! If you need a pool party vibe, DON'T do the Oasis Lagoon, pay the fee for the adult only Hideaway. I'm very disappointed. I mean the Oasis Lagoon music is a DOWNGRADE from Royal's sail away party...and their sail away party is about 30% lit! 😂 So that's saying something!
