If you’re paying with a credit card, it’s probably better to pay in the local currency (jamaican). Your credit card will give you a better exchange rate than a shop or restaurant.

We were hugging the coast of Cuba on that Wednesday aboard Independence of the Seas. We ended up getting an extra day of vacation on Thursday because we couldn’t get back to the Port of Miami until Friday because of hurricane Milton! Our itinerary was changed as well.

I heard the same but we went two years ago and it was nice. We booked a stay at Sandals through a travel agent. She said that as long you don't leave the resort, you'll be safe. Plus, Sandals drives you to and from the airport free of charge. So we never felt unsafe.

Yes, we enjoyed Jamaica. Great culture, a couple of harmless hagglers on the way from the dock as we decided to walk and take in the surroundings . Got great souvenirs, tasty food and entertained by many on the way, even the vendors🤣

Why not take your ring to a jeweler that repairs rings right there and have it tightened. You will pay for it, but why send a ring out to be gone so long.

We originally wanted the company we bought it from it fix it because it was their ring and because it was free. But we did just take it to a local place to have it tightened up on the spot
