The best place for the 4th of July is the Iron Range MN. So many parades and fireworks. The 3rd of July parade in Gilbert MN, then over to Eveleth, MN for the Street dance and fireworks. The 4th of July morning at 9:30 is the parade in Eveleth. Kids events after by the biggest hockey stick in the world. There are other parades and fireworks in other small towns as well. The 4th of July evening you can go to Virginia, MN or Duluth, MN to see the fireworks as well. On the 2nd of July there is a street dance in Gilbert, MN. You can travel around to other cities for other parades, however the main places to be is Gilbert and Eveleth. So many people and so much fun!!

Love it. Brought back many memories of growing up in Newport Rhode Island. Bristol is iconic for the 4th of July. I remember renting one of these small catamarans with a few friends in Panama city Florida on a long weekend from Ft. Being Georgia. Best part was seeing flying fish right along side of us.
