Some basic info of the group: - Day6 is a K-Band under JYP Entertainment. They debuted in 2015, but had a hiatus due to mental health and military enlistment for around 4 years in total. 'Welcome to the Show' is their first comeback after that long hiatus. - They used to be a 6-member group, but 1 member left not long after their debut, and another left in late 2021 after their contract ended. Now, there are 4 members in the group, and all of them had completed their military service. The members are: - Sungjin (leader, guitarist, main vocalist) - YoungK (bassist, main vocalist) - Wonpil (synthesizer, keyboardist, main vocalist) - Dowoon (maknae, drummer, vocalist) Yes all of them are main vocalists except for Dowoon. They said that the position of main vocalist are always changing for each song. Dowoon used to only play the drums, but he's slowly starting to participate in singing too! - They create and write their own songs. In fact, their agency gave them a condition that they have to create their own debut song first before they can debut, and after a long time, they finally debuted with 'Congratulations'

24:15 another fun fact. Their lyrics r mainly written by YoungK (bass) who studied in Toronto fr 4 years. He speaks Kor, Eng, Jap, Spanish n whatever heck language he puts his mind on 😂 He’s currently no4 on the most copyrighted lyricist/songwriter amongst korean idols but we’re not surprised he’ll be no1 soon 😍 He writes fr other artists too n is currently Korean TV stations’ favourite 💕

I am very happy to praise day6 everywhere because at the end of 4 years, they came back stronger together and started to get the value they deserve. They are truly an incredible and talented group. They write all their own songs and also produce them. Their concerts, acoustic live videos, song covers are all good. Their discography is really good so I hope you'll continue to listen to them, watch them, and see their other various charms.

Now that you've checked out DAY6! You have to check out xdinary heroes brooo! They're day6 & skz's lil brothers and are under jyp!! I like to describe their genre as pop punk rock. Too polished to be punk rock, too unconventional to be pop rock and too hard to be pop punk. They're like a three way hybrid. But their vocals are what really got me interested in them. I've been watching them since debut and they definitely deserve more recognition! Some song recommendations: pirates(live), strawberry cake, freakin bad, happy death day (their debut song), good enough (a slow one), test me, Pluto, Man in a box, break the brake and many more! Also they have done some amazing covers like impossible by nothing but thieves, drown by bring me the horizon, tomboy by g-idle, love me right by exo, zombie by day6, hellavator by skz etc. These boys are insanely talented! They recently made a comeback the album is crazy good

Thank you for this reaction! I think i have already suggested it, but please do TVXQ Killing Voice next. They are a duo with 20 years of experience in kpop industry, diverse songs and amazing, crazy vocals. Max Changmin is easily the powerhouse of high notes, vocal stability etc. Yunho (U-Know) is one of the most passionate people in the world, like literally this dude has so much energy and passion for dancing/performing. Their songs are iconic, proved by time and they just know how to deliver their all. Seeing them among all of the Killing Voices is just a must. truly an experience. (their group name literally means "Rising Gods of the East")

@@rytovaar4311 Out of all the rock bands, my favourite is Day6 who my little sis introduced, when Jae was still in the group. He was my fav at the time, so I was heartbroken when he left :'( Then Sungjin caught my interest and he is my favourite now! He's got that similiar rockish voice like Jaes' and he's seems incredibly passionate! The second would be The Rose (Lo-o-ve Woosungs voice!) and Onewe (a solid band with an amazing lead vocal) tied, then Nflying (Love rooftop :) ) comes third. They've all got amazing songs and talent, each with an unique style. . I haven't actually heard any of F. T Islands songs. Are they on par with these bands? And who is your favourite?

@@hazelmint6671 I'm a fan of CNBLUE (the frontman is incredible ) and FT. Island (if you like rock i really suggest you check them out). I think you could consider them as older bands. But also love ONEWE, Younghoon is such an amazing vocalist! Love his voice, delivery and tone. CNBLUE is my all time first love, they have so many good songs and albums. Yonghwa is truly knows hoe to command the crowd.

niceeee been waiting for this ❤❤❤ thank you sm!! also the drummer, dowoon, sings sometimes like he has a few lines here and there. also fun fact, the three vocalists actually trained to be in a dance group. they specifically trained with got7 but jype gave up on sungjin, the guitarist, because he cant really dance hahaha you can find videos on him dancing and he's so funny lol. wonpil, keyboardist, and young k, bassist, were so good at dancing during their trainee days and you can still see that they have that dancing background when they do challenges now ❤

22:00 fun fact - this is Park Sungjin, the leader. Day6 was formed as a band cos this guy cant dance well 😂 but his voice is too good to be passed on, so they trained his raspy voice, gave him a guitar, paired the other, not so good dancer/trainees but incredible musicians & vocalists, YoungK (bass) & Wonpil (keys), found a drummer thru audition & 3 months after - Day6 was born 😍

Finaallyyyy~!! More please and thank you! Day6 just came back from their military enlistment with this comeback "Fourever". They're the first K-band on Killing Voice, hence the instruments :D They wanted it to be like a mini concert so they started with Welcome to the Show (latest track) then Encore with "Best Part" "Free(hage)/Freely" and "Time of our lives" like they do in their concerts. But yes what made Congratulations iconic is not because of just the rap or it being a breakup song.. it's feeling bitter and betrayed about a relationship because that person who said they wanted to "cool off", really said that just so they can replace you with somebody else, and all that just seems heinous to you and all you can say is that "Wowww *clap clap* congratulations you're really something you know??" But really its just a front coming from a place of hurt and frustration of being left in a bad end of a relationship. Which makes its follow up "You were beautiful" even more heartbreaking and beautiful, because even after all of that, cue Goblin quote "Every moment I spent with you shined." My dude is just left with all those beautiful memories like a peter pan stuck in time. Ps. That part where Wonpil (keyboard/synth) sings "You were beautiful, the way you looked at me~", then suddenly Kesh looked at Ian at that exact same moment felt like being in the MV for real haha (Same song that Ian says is his favorite, is actually the anthem of MyDays too) The first 2yrs of Day6 was an Every Day6 project, which meant that every 6th day of the month they would release a song and culminating it into a concert. For the first year it was Sunrise album, then last was Moonrise album. Its really amazing that Day6 was able to produce such timeless and amazing tracks, every month despite the stress and inexperience (due to the fact that they just debuted); Because JYP said he wanted the guys to grow more organically, busking and stuff. (It's up to you in which light you would like to see that but yeah) So when you look back on all those MVs you may say that its kind of low budget maybe even rushed compared to other kpop MVs, but i think, it being rough but aesthetically clear with the storyline and intentions makes it nostalgic and fun. Hope to see you guys react to more day6, although I don't think I've seen you guys react to AKMU before, they have killing voice also.

Their bassist - Young K is the main lyricist of the group, he wrote almost all their songs. He also a solo artist and radio DJ. A lot of popular K-pop Idols/artists are Young K fans! I`d advise you to check his cover-project - "YOUNG ONE", there`s a lot of English songs (btw he is fluent in it). My fav: "Love Me Less" (Max, Quinn Xcii cover), "What Am I" (Why Don't We cover), "Last Call" (Hudson Thames cover), "Like A Star" (Corinne Bailey Rae cover), "What A Wonderful World (Louis Armstrong cover)
