I love watching women's first reactions to The Righteous Brothers. Two beautiful women of a different culture judging by their accents and about 55 years later The Righteous Brothers still light up smiles.

Thank you for making my evening. I grew up with these two kings of blue eyed soul! I cant tell you how many times I hugged my date and kissed her while we were entranced with this beautiful music. But now watching the 2 of you react to that timeless music just as we did so many years ago proves how magical this music is and how timeless it will always be no matter what your background is or where you are from. Thank you. I love you both!

👋🇨🇦❤️ many blessings, absolutely loved watching this reaction a big hello from Canada I love people cultures coming together with all sorts of music that's what I think it's all about. This was a little before my time as well but I melt every time I hear these two believe it or not I think this is only one year before you saw the one singer in the pink jacket blonde hair that was done in 65, this was just awesome and their voices just undeniable they used to call them apparently blue-eyed soul, and their name"the righteous Brothers"was given to them by black Marines because they thought they were absolutely righteous. God bless and I definitely subscribe to this your reactions were beautiful from beautiful ladies. 🙏

I love your honest heartfelt reactions. Hard to believe this is almost 60 years ago, isn't it? I so enjoy watching people discover music I know from the past. Especially if I remember just how much the song affected me the first time I heard it! I watch several reaction channels but have never heard anyone react to the artist Chris DeBurgh. His music is from the 70s. The first song I ever heard of his is called Spanish Train. That is a song that leaves an impact on you! He is an amazing storyteller with his music. Others of his are Patrica the Stripper and Just Another Poor Boy. Please check him out.

Please react to Lesly Gore, 1964, ‘ you don’t own me’ performed at the T.A.M.I show, live on television. This song has been called the anthem for women’s rights back in the 1960’s when they finally realised their power and were not afraid to demand equal rights. It was the beginning of gender equality and this women ROCKS!!

Couldn't agree more! I grew up in the 70's with real bands, real lyrics, real instrumentals, and real vocals! Journey, Kansas, Boston, Styx, Eagles, Queen. They played and sang their guts out on stage. Karen Carpenter was unmatched in female vocals as well.

Great, fabulous singers who may have done this in one take...in the studio. But this was a lip-sync, not a live rendering.

Nope, it was live. Someone has replaced the live audio with the studio recording. The original live performance is available on KZbin.
@tomcleary70742 жыл бұрын
Not only is the audio pre-recorded, it was a complex Phil Spector production that could’ve never been done live on TV back then. It’s no knock on these guys-who could both sing-but it’s not something television could pull off more than 50 years ago.
@Aurora-tp3dy2 жыл бұрын
@@tomcleary7074 kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZmTMhIigfcaIrrs This is the actual original live performance from Shindig, January 13, 1965. Bobby and Bill are singing their hearts out with a bunch of screaming teenagers in the audience. The entire episode is also available.
