It’s worth, for context, going over the recent horrendous history of Albania. A country that went through one of the most brutal communist dictatorships. That explains why within a km square you get disjointed architecture that on paper shouldn’t work but in Albania it makes perfect sense….antiquity, Ottoman, dilapidated soviet style blocks, kitsch 90s neoclassic imitations and modern architecture. Albania is a country of contradictions and a country furiously hungry to make up for lost time with all the goods and bads that entails.

Well , here i m again , in the and i took the day off . Its said that there are 3 ancient cities one upon the other on that site , Albania is full of ancient ruins but they cant be explored becouse after that a good part of propaganda history wont fit anymore ....
