Im so glad you enjoyed our country, however I am sad of the recent cut of diplomatic ties, switching to China, the creator of covid-19, the global pandemic and catastrophe.. Our country is indebted to Taiwan's countless assistance. Kam bati n rabwa.

We're very sad about the diplomatic situation as well, especially it happened weeks after our visit😢 but the bond is still going strong and Kiribati is hands down an amazing country! Best of luck❤️

@@rubychen7615 yes my country made it choice because we couldn't afford to buy airport but we ask Taiwan government if they can supply Airport but they want Kiribati goverment to loan to other country kiribati were disappointment as the results so they made a vote to the people if they want Taiwan or china as it turn out Kiribati made a decision and switch tie's with china and china promise an airport for Kiribati on the way it so sad you know thank you for visiting kiribati 😊

I pray that one day Kiribati will reunite with Taiwan again in the future. Politically and financially, the Kiribati government decided to go with China but the heart of most Kiribati citizens remain with Taiwanese people.
