Native of Florida here. Go to the deli section and get one made to your specifications you won’t regret it. I go to Publix mainly for the bakery section, deli section and pick up occasional things that I need in the other sections but other than that it’s not my main store I go to Walmart/sams or piggly wiggly mainly

Publix deli is where to go. They can put any of the deli meats on any bread you want. The most popular is the fried chicken tender sub! They will even sauce the chicken tenders in any sauce you want

Publix is very nice store, we don't have them here in Illinois but when we visited Florida that's where i visited Publix and I loved that store! Great customer service!

Love Publix. Definitely try their subs. We always get a wrap every time we go. Their chicken salad is really good so is there fried chicken. I like their tiramisu. It’s more expensive but it’s a great place to go if you like sushi they also have great sushi.

Pub Subs are fantastic. Just as Subway, they make it how you want it. They also choose a different sub every week to put on sale, which helps our family to enjoy take out pretty cheap. Sometimes its a whole sub (12 + inch) for like 6.99 or 8.99 depending on the type of sub. So delicious. Your publix is pretty much like the ones we have here on the panhandle of Florida. Some are new like yours and then we have the older stores. Both are kept cleaner than any other grocery chain we have in this area.

I’m so glad y’all finally got a Publix! My son works at the Publix by our house, and I will say, it has been such a great experience for him and a great company to work for. They really care for and about their employees as much as their customers! You definitely want to go up to the deli counter to order your sandwich, they are so good!! Just know at lunch time and after church on Sundays it gets crazy! We like to pre-order ours on the Publix app and then we can just walk up and grab ours without standing in line. Looking forward to all the Publix reviews!! 😊

I don’t know about their but in our Publix we don’t have to buy two to get the bogo deal. We can buy one for half the price. I love Publix, their bakery items are so good. Publix brand is pretty good quality if you ask me. The Greenwise brand I think is more Publix organic items. Also I love their European, Jewish, Asian, Hispanic items. They have pretty good bit to try. I love Publix icecream, also their limited editions are pretty good also.

I don't have Publix. Here it's Shoprite, Stop & Shop, Wegmans, Acme, Market Basket, Foodtown, and Kings as far as regional chains go, among a few others.

Publix Bakery Raspberry Elegance Cake and Chocolate Ganache Cake are excellent. They sell individual slices (rectangles) of these in the refrigerated section of the bakery. Also, their Chantilly Cake and tiramisu are delicious.

@@TamiDunn me too, I also worked there since I was 16. And yes you need to try the Publix subs at the deli! I get a veggie sub and they make it right there in front of you. You can chose any cut of meats or even chicken tender sub Philly cheesesteak etc. I also have only eaten Publix bakery items, cake you can order to your specifications I’ve even ordered a single donut and cupcake before exactly how I wanted just call ahead! My only issue is sometimes they are expensive

We are getting another Publix here in Louisville. It will be off Shelbyville Road. Building it now. I love the one at Terra Crossing but the new one will only be about ten minutes away. Enjoyed your tour of Publix!!

I grew up in Cincy and one thing you should look out for if they have it at any of the bakeries for the 'Klunker' donut. Daly Donuts had great ones but they closed probably 45 years ago. I hadn't had one in years but many bakeries had them. Bonomini bakery had them but I understand they closed really recently. Not sure if anyone else up there makes them today. I go to Louisville a lot and that 64-Gene Snyder area has been bad for construction for a good while. That I-64 area in Frankfort can be eventful.

They are priced more like Whole Foods and The Fresh Market. I'd say people who shop at Kroger and Meijer will also shop there.

I haven’t been in a Publix yet, but I definitely plan to stop at one when we do a trip down south. I really want to try their Pub Subs, I’ve heard they’re amazing. Especially the chicken tender subs. I’m impressed with how clean and well maintained it looks. Here in CT, we have Stop & Shop and Big Y. Big Y is nice. Stop & Shop used to be good but has gone way downhill, their stores are definitely not as well run or maintained as they used to be and the same goes for their quality, for example they don’t have butchers in the store anymore either, all the meat is shipped in. The driving looked pleasant, love how there’s not much traffic. Here there’s always traffic, including Sundays. Plus the supermarkets here are very busy on Sundays so it’s tough to get a good time to shop. Great vlog!

Publix Deli Boars Head Italian Sub. The best! The employees you passed on the aisle have 10 seconds to greet you . Only 2 store chains in ATL have premise cut meats. Publix and Ingles. Kroger and Walmart the meat is warehouse cut and shipped to stores. Ugggh!

We don't have any in Ohio just yet but if we do, hopefully it's within a reasonable distance because I definitely want to see what it's about. I hated working express at Wegmans because they would have you turn the 15/less light on or off all the time. So you’d get a customer with a huge order, then they have you turn it back on again and that customer (or the cashier) looks ignorant.

I remember when Publix came to my area about 8 years ago. There was a huge grand opening and you would have thought a celebrity was there. It was huge. Publix is always clean and stocked. I got a birthday cake from Publix and it was delicious. The subs are good!!! I’m glad you got to shop at Publix and find some great foods to review.
