Looked exceptional that. Can see how could be deemed a tad expensive but when you look what you drop for a Muckys nowadays it really looks pretty good value. For fast food that looks head and shoulders above what the other joints in the UK are serving up.

I enjoyed a Slim Chickens not long after they opened off Oxford Street. I have to admit that it was expensive but my goodness it was bl**dy good stuff. There are a lot of places out there now giving The Colonel a run for his money and they're proving much better as well.

I do like this company chain, tried it when in the US on holiday a few times-glad they opened up here a few years back! Must admit I was rather sad when in my part of Kent at Bluewater Shopping Centre got rid of their Ed's Diner for this. I knew Ed's were getting rid of some of their restaurants and then shut their other one in Kent in Bromley! I think they closed like 11 around the UK all in all. When will you come to Kent??

No doubt miles better than KFC. I don’t know what’s happened to KFC lately but they are not like they used to be. It’s all too greasy and swimming in fat. Used to love a box of chicken and chips at the w/e but rarely have any now. Anyway nice review Lee👍

If you want to remain at the top of the food chain you need to accept that chicken is a white fluffy bird that lives a couple of months - duck is the ducks you feed at the pong - bacon is Peppa and so on. Doesn't bother me - I also enjoy rabbit as I hum "Bright Eyes" as I eat the pie. Sorry Lee but you have to face up to your choices - if the origins of your dinner offend you then choose something else

Quite liked the look of that place. It's close to Derby when we come up worth a 30 min drive across. Love a salad and that was big. The chicken looked thick and juicy. On looks a 9 for me

Great to see you finally have got to Slim Chickens! However....!!!! You missed the whole point!!! You can get a chicken burger anywhere, here it’s all about the chicken tenders! And they are amazing! I discovered Slim Chickens in London at the Brunswick centre near Russell Square in 2019 and have never looked back! Trust me the chicken tenders are great! Succulent and tasty! Plus try the house sauce that’s great as well! But I will try the chicken burger next time I’m in London and the salad as that looks great!😉

On first impressions I thought oh that seems a bit pricey when you said how much it was but then I saw the food and thought that looks nice tho. Dearer than McDonald's or KFC but the food looks better. I say ,9.0 on looks anyway. When I was a kid the Milkshakes in McDonald's used to be thick like that I remember lol. Hope you did get back to the car without been blown away anyway 🤣?

Both of them meals looked great guys however for me what does my swede in regarding a great deal of establishments that serve burgers on their menu are the brioche buns. I developed an allergy to eggs (my fault as I was eating too many eggs a day and my body now says "NO") and these buns are made using eggs. I do wish that they'd offer an alternative with a normal bun. Cheers for the update. 👍

Both looked very acceptable for the cash, would give 8/10. Re the buns though I have a real issue with most burger selling establishments as I am gluten intolerant. Never found anywhere that does gluten free buns so am excluded, kind of both sad & irritating🤷🏼‍♂️

Yeah I had a Slim Chickens at Grand Central in Birmingham a few months back. Expensive but again you are paying for the brand & the quality was exceptional. I gave it a 8.6. 👍

Me & my wife eat at slim chicken regularly,my wife states that the vegetarian tenders are the best she has ever eaten.also the coated fried onions are to die for the only moan we have is the price for two meals and upgrade the bottomless drink to a Milkshake for £2 it cost £30+ but never the less the food is amazing. Macca you don’t think of it as eating a baby lamb it’s just a sheep under a year old, after that it becomes the stronger tasting hogget then mutton 🤪 your chicken looked good but it’s just another chicken joint like kfc and all the rest ! We went to jolly bee in Newcastle and I thought if it tasted like kfc but cooked nice and crispy and not greasy like jolly bee then perfect lol, ok standardised chicken joints 6/10

Hiya Lee! Your meals in ‘skinny chicken’ were huge!! Couldn’t get over the size of Angie’s salad. Thinking theres no way she will eat all that. Yours looked nicer today, so a solid 9.5 for the burger and an 8.5 for the salad. I’m not a huge fan of bananas but it has to be banana when having a milkshake no question. Great looking chicken burger, heaps of chook and salad etc in there. Chips good too, nice seasoning. Angies chicken salad was a good size, too much for her, but nice and healthy. Shakes must have been nice. Price a tad high, from me 8.5. (Sad about the sauce sachets, so hard to open, but ang opened hers, she has nails, lol.)

Wow, both dishes looked divine. Got to say the fluffy white chicken salad looked the better of the two and would deffo order one of them if ever I get chance to enter one of these gaffs. As for the price, when I first saw the receipt I thought a tad expensive but on seeing the size of the dishes reigned in that thought. 8.5 for the burger, 9.5 for the salad 😋👍
