Thanh Bui is an Australian singer born to Vietnamese-Australian parents. He made it to the top 8 of the 2008 Australia Idol contest. He relocated to Vietnam in 2010 where he started his own music label. He is an award-winning singer/songwriter and producer with numerous gold records. He's 41, married with two children.

I know his relatives very well. Many years ago, his uncle (who is a priest) did a charity concert - with our choir and Thanh Bui was a special guest to perform. Still have photos of that day. When I found out he collaborated with BTS, I couldn’t believe, still couldn’t believe that out of all the musicians/songwriters in the world, BTS chose him (the first one to collab with). I’m so proud of him and BTS!
