Is a Sc fiction movie, is fiction and sci, is like going to saw Rambo and expecting to be realistic war movie, or a hero movie and expect to be realistic, in here they used some theory (even in not posible or right) on that premise they base all the movie, I think they did great, she act emotionless, but thats because she lost her humanity
@ianjardine73244 ай бұрын
To be fair they treated the idea more logically than a lot of people think Morgan didn't say we only use 10% he said we only have access to it which is a better metric. 90% is operating autonomously regulating or bodies without our conscious control. Which is why her first stage is deliberate manipulation of her own body's speed strength and healing then as she repurposes parts of her brain she loses more and more of her humanity her emotions and drives become more logic based and less instinctual. She's aware of what's happening but has passed the point of no return her only logical choice is to complete the process before she runs out of the drug fueling her development. The story makes it clear the parts we're not "using" are the most important parts that which make us human and not simply biological computers.

I always say it was Scarlett Johansson’s first audition for a solo Black Widow movie, her proving she could lead a successful action film and she did it. She really is such an extraordinary actress. I also really love her speech about humans creating finite systems to describe an infinite universe. I’ve been thinking about that since middle school, long before this movie came out.
@allietone209 ай бұрын
Here is my theory as to why she didn't kill the Korean Mob Boss. Since everything is time there is also the probability of certain thing are suppose to happen in their own time. Maybe she foresaw killing him early would somehow delay her ability to reach the capacity of becoming infinite herself. Maybe she already knew things were to play out the way they were supposed to, because the people who are important at the moment is the scientists and that one cop, because they have some meaning to time and the infinity of it; timeline wise. In other words they were important to the timeline, the other people weren't.

Luc Besson also created "The Fifth Element"; 20 years later, he created "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets". Highly recommend! The opening sequence is phenomenal. You can tell the true visionaries by how much their work is hated at initial presentation. Not just dismissed, not just rejected, but hated. It takes a while for the audience to catch up. It takes a while for small pieces of the pure work to be nipped off by other creators and derivatively combined with less ingenious art, so an audience can mature on those bits, learn the symbolic 'language' and understand the original work. "The Fifth Element" was panned at release. "Lucy" was hated. And, oh the derision that ensued over "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets". But then, no one liked "The Wizard of OZ" or "Blade Runner" at first...

That said I found the movie to be very entertaining and with talent like Scarlet Johansen (doesn't hurt she is drop dead gorgeous) and Morgan Freeman. In my mind Morgan Freeman and James Earl Jones ooze so much talent, just their voices can tell an exquisite story 2 hours long with just a dark black screen and deserve an Oscar.

Aside from keeping us breathing and our heart beating, it controls al functions within, regulates body temperature, fights infections, controls millions of body functions that keep us alive. 10% is our self-awareness, and how we perceive our world. The last 5% is in standby, and sometimes someone can access it "ESP"?, "Clairvoeance"?, "Ghost world"?, "Mathmatical genius", Understanding a different language, without ever studying it?,
