Any upgrade to the wheel base? Any progress to update the recumbent bike wheel to thru-axle?

I would love if you could build in a wheelchar-mode for disabled people who can have such injuries that they have limited strength and sometimes lose all the funktion and need to use the trike like a wheelchair to come home with the same speed limitations as a wheelchair at max 15 km/h. I have seen some others like Hase and a couple of other brands using such a system. A wheelchair can use 500 watt like in the Hase trike, but with 85-90 NM as in Shimano EP801 and Brose S Mag the 250 W motor should be enougth, at least for my use. Best Regards Arne G from Norway. But this importent because disabled people with some strength would like to do as much pedaling as possible instead of using one of the new offroad wheelchairs with 4 bike wheels only driven by an electric motor without the possibility to do some pedaling ourselves. If you cannot use the walking mode I heard one colleague (other brand) told this was only an extra card for the management of max 15 km/h with wheelchair-mode. I have got a couple of such offers but would rather have a Ti Fly X with the best suspension which reduce vibrations better.

Sometimes I am riding through several centimeters of water, mud, or high grass/weeds that get caught easily in derailleurs , so I tend to prefer a short-cage derailleurs at the back with cassette gearing. Will those work with the Autoshift/Freeshift?

I am afraid that the Cuse and Deore XT derailleurs are only with long cage because they have to cover the 11 to 43 or even 50 teeth of the cassette. Honza
