Looks a nice resort, but I prefer smaller, more personal places..... like Drake Hotel and Papi's Bar & Chill and the great characters you meet there! Papi's by the Sea?

First time we went to Boracay we paid our hotel for a package to pick us up at the airport, took us to their own lounge by the ferry dock, waited 5 minutes and they ferried us to Boracay, then shuttled us to the hotel. Totally seamless. It cost around $50-60 for both of us together.

That is such an arduous trip! Manila to Cataclan isn't too bad. But bus rides, a boat ride, more bus rides... it seems like it took us 4+ hours to get to the hotel, once we boarded our plane in Manila 🥵 I guess we'll need to wait a few days before we come up to Papi's for dinner? 😂🤣

Hi Hope it was cleaner than when we went. We went twice before the government shut down the island. We stayed at station 7 I think. That was cleaner and more quiet. Enjoy your stay, Ps I relocated from the UK one year ago. My wife and I live in Isebela province.

Try to catch the Rock and Roll band at Nigi Nigi's around 8 pm. Pretty good music.. AND BE SURE TO GET A "HALOMANGO ICE" at HALOMANGO... The best Ice Cream treat ON THE PLANET ERIC!!! Get the Family size and share it if you want to indulge in the greatest Ice cream in the world! Words cannot describe it brother.. HALLOMANGO ICE!

No, your first time in Boracay, you did it right. Get a complete transfer ticket. Next time you can just do everything yourself and save a bunch, but the first time it was helpful to have a liaison the whole way to your hotel… Enjoy!!!
