Well you do not need to spend a lot of cash on a camera. I bought a new DJI Osmo Action for half the price of a new one and it is brilliant. Because now they are old stock with new models out, this would be a great vlogging camera with 4k. For image stabilisation it has Rock Steady and that works a treat. At £250 it was a no brainer to buy. I use it on hand held mount with an external mike. Came with a detachable stick on vehicle mount for filming en route.
