Our Future ? In dim-lit halls, where shadows lie, A poster hangs beneath the sky. Its colors fade, yet still it gleams, A relic born of mighty dreams. A Soviet scientist, steadfast, bold, Gazes outward, the future foretold. His coat is white, his gaze sincere, A beacon of hope in a fading year. Behind him, machines of iron stand tall, Engines of progress, the dream of all. The slogan beneath, in letters bright, *"OUR FUTURE"*-a vow to ignite. Oh, how he dreamed, that scientist there, Of stars we’d conquer, of skies laid bare. Of worlds unbound by war’s cruel hand, Where science reigned across the land. Yet time has weathered his hopeful face, And silence now fills that boundless space. The rockets rust, the banners fray, The march of progress lost its way. But still, his eyes, with a light unbroken, Hold the fire of words unspoken. A future forged by minds unchained, A vision of what mankind once claimed. How sad it feels to stand and see, A dream consigned to memory. The horizon he sought, so vivid, so near, Is clouded now, by time and fear. Yet in his gaze, there lingers a spark, A glimmer of hope in the looming dark. For though the past may dim and wane, The dream of progress shall rise again. *"OUR FUTURE"*-a cry, not lost but found, A call to build on forsaken ground. To lift our eyes to the stars once more, And strive for what the cosmos bore. So let him stand, that silent guide, A testament to those who tried. For in his gaze, we see our part- The will to dream, the strength to start.
