Heres how is see it... technology plays a huge role in kids becoming more lazy... but i also think it takes way more blame then it should. i believe fun is proportional to safety... the amount of laws and scolding we are putting on todays youth is ruining their childhood... think about it... the types of dangerous and unacceptable things the last generation did when they were teens kept them entertained and having fun.... these days kids will be areested for playing nicky nicky nine doors. be scolded for hanging out in numbers downtown because ppl are threatened for often no reason, they cant jump off bridges into the pond without being charged. basically the laws are being much less forgiving. what we used to get a warning for, kids are now getting major fines for... im all for keepong kids safe, but you can wrap them in bubble wrap and place them in a foam walled room.... are they really living? or are they living a life full of fear of punishment and boredom that theyre now turning to video games to get the same rush the past generation did by jumping off the local watering hole where jumping off the rocks is now forbidden. last generations kids arent as crazy as they were then bc they lived their extreme teen rebious years and now they can calm down and become mature. these days we expect kids to act like adults. and ppl wonder why american kids r more obese then other countries! maybe its because kids from other countries actually have the freedom we once had!!! and now that weve lost it our kids r using simulations ie video games to provide their rush

Exactly! Most people I know only go outside to walk, everything else is banned and some damn shops don't even let more than 4 of us in at a time! What can we do other than walk? We can stay inside and play games. This is our only outlet and adults say 'you're too dependent go outside', to do what, walk some more and be bored somewhere else? Blaming someone for their only fun is the reason most kids are brats, we aren't spoiled we are scapegoats for your parents' failures.

I gotta say this. Im a gamer soon to be twitch streamer And video games saved my life from turning to the streets and drugs. And it tought me a few other things as well to get me through school and so its part of my daily life. I still work and be responsible and all that. But as for this generation its a lil different now
