My late husband always liked it when you said good morning to your windmill ❤❤

I helped my dad in Richland County south of the Missouri plant and harvest for 10 years, when he passed in '01 I came back to help the neighbor harvest for 17 years! Their equipment was a lot nicer. In the late 90's my dad and I were cutting late, maybe 11 p.m., it was dry. We were about 10 miles from home. The northern lights were so bright we drove all the way home without lights! I'll never forget that, bet you had some nice displays last month. We even had them in Reno

The hugeness of your equipment, fields still just boggle my little mind. Grew up on 15-80 acre fields and 4 row-36" equipment!

Nice tee shirt. But does it show the vice grips latched to the wind mill's brake that kept it from squeaking for a couple of seasons? "Just askin' for a friend. . ."

We had an old wooden slat windmill in our yard across the street brake went out of it. It ran free for a long time in high winds till one day one of our northeasterly breezes at 75plus had it going very good then i think the gear locked up on it and it folded the tower down into a u shape😂

Solar flare messed with ours too. Really messed up the row clutch shutting off at weird locations 😮.

Great video showing the planter from different angles while seeding, is it possible to tell how many acres is each field, keep up the great work

Through October, I believe, there is a high level of solar flares. The interesting thing is that it affects the weather, not that the news will ever mention that, being that it would counter their "man caused" climate story.

Not solar flares it's haarp system in Alaska which is causing it and using it to mess with the weather

In the field that you had the skip row, could just turn off the GPS and move the tractor over and steer manually?

Farming on a reservation, are you allowed to own the land, or do you lease from the tribe? Also 100 years of farming, will you ever run out of rocks in the fields?

I have 2 quarters that are pretty squiggly lol. Seeded for 2 days the old school way..but it's a lot harder when you have 70ft equipment to keep straight

The problem wasn't with the GPS satellites. The issues were with RTK base station radio transmissions to your tractor, or disruptions of the frequency used by the vendor's satellite correction network (RTX, SF1, SF3, etc). Do you run your own RTK base station or do you use one provided by a dealer nearby? I have my own base station in my yard (900 MHz, 1 watt), and I was working within 5 miles of it during the entire solar flare event and never once had a problem with GPS. RTK was still accurate to less than an inch the entire time.

Anybody that has worked on equipment knows that engineers can drive you nuts, but whoever designed that drill the way it folds is a genius🤷🏼‍♂️

After watching your channel , Mike Mitchell, Larsons, it would be great to see the look on my Grandfather and great Grandfather face if they would be alive . For how big the farm equipment has gotten and how many acres that each farm has now. Thank for the video

Worked for 40 years at Breen Industries as farm operater of everything and several million miles in the truck. We had a couplr if fields that drove you crazy switching to different GPS sources had 3 available i think. One night combing flowers i was half way through the field going angle and it quit working on me had a little curve in that land opening the next morning in daylight.

Well your gps fared better than mine. I had around 6 hours of no connection a couple weeks ago. I tried 2 different units.. 2 antennas and updated all firmware and never would connect. A day later had perfect connection and back to spraying.
